The BlogWorld Expo New York Speaker Lounge

I made it safe and sound to BlogWorld Expo New York. Since I landed at 6AM in the morning, the hotel doesn’t have my room ready, so I walked down the block to the Jacob Javits Convention Center and picked up my badge.

Right now, I’m chilling in the speaker’s lounge and decided to post this quick video because it demonstrates how bloggers (at least bloggers who speak at Expos) are different than most of the population. Look for more videos and coverage later.

Traveling and blogging is pretty sweet. I am chilling in Miami and will head to Key West tomorrow. Will try to make it to Affiliate Summit in August; I will probably drop by and say hi then 😉 cheers

    1. Sounds like you’re having a good time!

    2. No much of a lounge, looks like a hotels conference room with tables, where’s the leather couches, food and booze?

This is the first Blog World in New York. It needs time to grow. There was food a booze. Just didn’t show it in the video. However, no leather couches anywhere.

        1. Yes I am sure in coming days we will be able to see more fancy furniture and all facilities.

    2. Get the Magic Mouse, all touch sensitive at yes, there is a right click. It is a pretty cool gadget.

      1. I think Magic mouse flopped ..

  3. I have never used a Mac and I am not familiar with it. After watching this video I may be a convert. Thanks John and good luck in New York at the BlogWorld Expo.

    1. You could always go and try one before you buy one at your local Apple Store!

The transition from pc to mac is still very much a work in progress for me. In fact there are things I may never do on a mac as I’m a web designer by trade and have old habits in 10 years or so of building sites with a pc based os. However I will say they are much slicker and better to use.

        1. Thats true! Although if you use similar programs on both operating systems there isn’t that much different to learn i.e. Photoshop to Photoshop. I say there isn’t that much to learn as Excel on OS is different to the Windows version!

    2. Macs rock, and best of all, zero viruses.

Looking to upgrade later this year or next year. Didn’t like Macs when I used a Mac at my wife job since it wasn’t what I was used to it. So we’ll see.
