The House That Internet Marketing Paid For

You may recalled a post I made a while back entitled Internet Marketing Allowed Me To Fulfill A Fatherโ€™s Duty. In that post, I revealed that I spent nearly $30K in private school tuition just to send Sally to Grade 6. Well, that’s nothing compared to this.

While still in Orange County, Sally’s new school is located about 30 minutes from where we currently live. I decided that this was too long of a daily commute. So, I bought a new house!

The new Dot Com Crib is a 5,000 square feet split level house that sits on 22,000 square feet of hilltop land offering panoramic ocean, harbor and sunset views. Best of all, it is only eight minutes from Sally’s new school.

All the rooms facing the ocean have floor to ceiling windows to let in the sun and the view. I haven’t measured it, but I think the ceiling is at least 20 foot high.

The highlight of the house is the view from the back yard entertainment area. In the addition to the view, the back features a BBQ area, fire pit, and rock waterfall running down into a 12 person hot tub.

The house is part of a guard gated community of 100 large scale homes. I will be taking possession next month. We’re not moving in right away. I plan to make some upgrades to the house to bring it up to dot com standards. My office needs to be redone, the bathrooms needs to be updated and a home automation system needs to be installed. Everything will be ready for the start of the 2017-2018 school year.

Check out that view. On a clear day, you can see all the way out to Catalina Island. It’s also great for watching the sunset.

Yes, it may seem extreme to spend $30K in tuition and buy a $2 million house just to send Sally to a new school. But this is what internet marketing has allowed me to do. When I told my friend about the new house, he told me he could get me in touch with a few mortgage brokers who can get me some great terms and payment plans. I told him I’m going to do the one payment plan. The Dot Com Lifestyle is more than just time freedom, money freedom and location freedom. It also means you can buy a $2 million house for cash!

How To Live The Dot Com Lifestyle

One of the most asked questions I get is how do I get started doing this? How do I live the Dot Com Lifestyle? It’s very easy to get overwhelm with the amount of information out there.

The answer is not really not hard. You have remove yourself as the income source by leveraging systems that makes the money so you don’t have to. That is what the Internet has allowed me to do. My blog, YouTube, social media, ClickBank, MOBE, etc. combine to create a multi-million dollar online business that I can run from anywhere in the world, “working” just a couple of hours a day.

If you’re looking for a step by step solution, then I recommend applying to my Ultimate Dot Com Lifestyle coaching program. This is a 21 step program that teach you step by step how to create a profitable internet business. You’ll also get a one on one coach to help you.

  41. Awesome stuff John.

Folks sometimes forget all the blood, sweat and tears go into leveraging the hell out of your presence, into something where you can buy a 2 million dollar home for cash. Lots of freeing but uncomfortable choices you gotta make to grow that bank roll. But goodness it is well worth it.

Fear is the 1 thing stopping anybody from living their dreams. So dive in, feel the fear, let it go, and even if you still feel fear….do it anyway….meaning, feel the fear and do whatever you feel terrified to do.

For me, that meant checking my metrics on the sales and traffic fronts more frequently. Not just to see how I am doing, really, but to feel any fear that I could perceive myself as a failure, since I was not as far along as I thought I’d be, if my stats seemed low. Over time – quite quickly actually – that fear dissolved into nothing-ness, so I could let it go and free myself to rock it out online, circling the globe, inspiring other folks to do the same.

    Thanks for the inspiring.

    Signing off from Thailand.

    Ryan

Hey John – it’s been a while, but I just had to read your post about the new shack…..f-a-n-c-y…..! And what a post…..great house pics, spelling tips, prison humor….something for every walk of life…! Hope to catch up again soon at the Dot-com lunch…the kids have been taking some classes on Saturdays in La-La Land. It’s about 1 1/2 hour drive each way for the 2 hour class…but just one day a week so not home shopping there yet. Anyway, when they have a break I look forward to catching a lunch with you, Oscar, and the gang. Cheers! – Steve
