If you’re wondering what BlueFur is, these videos may help explain it. Then again, it may raise more questions than it answers.

BlueFur was originally call Monster Hosting. However, it was threaten by some company, who shall remain nameless, with a trademark infringement lawsuit. Rather than spending an unholy amount of money to fight the suit, BlueFur decided to change their name.

These video is part of the rebranding effort. Part 1 is directly below and part 2 is directly below part 1.

The theme has a nice layout and the header pic is nice, the site seems to be cluttered with ad's, what the heck John, you know what you’re doing. People will still come even if they have to filter through the ads.

Anraiki - It should be JohnChowRocks...

If that's not working either there is other BlueFur Promo Codes.

Gotta love the BlueFur roar!

The promotional code is not working.

definitely, they should have a new web design...

Too bad for the company, they will only have to lose.

I really hate reading about the trademark infringement lawsuit case. Seems like a lot of company like to sue anyone who infringement (anything) to get some money back . better start off with you name lol

The first video was a little slow, but I enjoyed the second.

I read the title of the post and thought to myself .o0(how hard can it be to find a blue fir they're all over the place out where John lives). Then I realized it was bluefur.

The Blu Fur was in my back yard this morning.

 That was fun ! Good videos.

wo is me for not knowing how to install flash on breezy badger.

Everyone knows that monsters have blue fur anyway.

Love the videos, especially the first one.

I've had to deal with trademark issues in jobs I've had before. It really is amazing how litigious large corporations are over anything that could even remotely sound or look like their product or service.

It depends on the issue, in some cases large companies will make outlandish claims hoping you'll settle out of fear and if you ignore them, they never pursue it legally, as it's not worth the cost to fight a risky battle.

I think with large companies that's one of their main tactics - especially if they're going up against a startup or a small company.

For most small companies it's just not worth the possibility that you might lose and have to face a huge legal bill that would put you out of business.

Safer to steer clear.

Funny videos, especially the last one. How come my previous comments didn't show? Sorry if this repeats ...

Shame about the lawsuit, I hate it when money talks

Money talking is usually a good thing... not in this case though.

Money always talks!

Isn't that why everyone reads this blog?!?

Funny videos

John, You post about bluefur so many times. is it yours? JohnChow.com accused it? or do they buy this post? or any other reason? just wonder :)
