note how plentyoffish is very sparse with the ads - they arent in your face. in other words, user content is king on that site. no wonder his traffic levels are enormous.

There are some sites that will never drop out of the rankings because they are far too important like About.com in terms of the number of, and influential links they have. So, for them, its not risky at all.
