The Winner of The World’s Thinnest Mouse

written by John Chow on July 14th, 2007

World's thinnest mouse

Congrats to Jon Lee for winning the word’s thinnest mouse. Actually, maybe I should say I feel sorry for him because while it ranks as the thinnest mouse in the world, it also ranks as the most uncomfortable mouse in the world. At least he’ll look cool. I should be really evil and not send Jon the instructional pamphlet. That’ll really mess him up!

Then again, he may do what the mad cow did and give the prize away in a new contest. If I keep this up, there’ll be a bunch of signed John Chow products being used for perpetual giveaways. That would be pretty funny.

Thanks to everyone who entered the contest. Look for another useless giveaway real soon. And if you haven’t already done so, I highly recommend you subscribe to the full feed RSS. The reason will be made clear real soon.

  1. Unfortunately like most ultra portable devices the usability scores are often polar to that of the mobility ones. Best thing I’ve ever used as a replace to the mouse was a device you held in your thumb, index finger to click, thumb to move tracking ball. Like any of these though they give different aches if used excessively… They are great however for those in between places such as planes etc…

  2. Oh well, maybe i’ll win the Next contests…
    Congrats to the winner.

  3. Dammit! Lost again. Oh well. Congrats Jon for winning!

  4. Congrats! I’m not too upset about losing this one, still wouldn’t have mind winning though. :P

  5. It could not have happened to a more deserving person.

    Hahah just kidding, thanks John!

  6. Congrats to Jon Lee. nice prize.

  7. J

Lawl if I were Jon, I would have taken a check for the value of the mouse instead so I could buy hookers and booze for temporary enjoyment.

    HAR just kidding.

  8. Haha
Giving away the give away doesn’t sound like a bad plan. Although hopefully John Lee will sign it himself along with your autograph…

  9. Congrats! I hope it lasts a really long time!

  21. I’m kind of glad I didn’t win. I need to save up my luck for something better.

  22. Another useless prize in the next contest, John?!?! Wait, what am I complaining about…I’ll take anything at this point!

  23. Congratulations..
    Missed this contest…

  24. Congrat Jon Lee

    Pick me next John.

  25. I missed the contest… but.. I missed the contest! Damn!!!!

  26. This is what you miss out on when you’re locked up.. or running from your bookies.

  27. You could easily make a smaller one, one that fits on a sewing thumb. a ball two buttons and a light sensor. it could work but it would be even more useless then this mouse.
