This Is What It’s All About

It was such a beautiful day (82F and not a cloud in the sky) in the OC today that after church, Sally and I took the top off the new Mercedes-Benz SL550 for a nice drive up and down the Pacific Coast Highway to bath in the great weather, and just enjoy life. It is times like these that I am 100% sure what I am doing is right.

Time, money, and location freedom. That is what the Dot Com lifestyle is all about. It is something that anyone can achieve, but you have to want it bad enough. The problem is, most don’t want it bad enough. And the main reason this is the case is because they don’t have a really powerful why.

Why are you doing this business? I can tell you right now if you’re doing it just to improve your own situation, then the why is not strong enough. People will deny themselves because they don’t think they can do it, or more likely, they don’t think they deserve it. You need a really strong why, and the most powerful why is generally not you, but what you care most about. For me, my why is sitting in the seat next to me.

Nice Article I started Blogging about a year ago and your book has given me some good tips. Its not easy but I think I am getting better with practice and hopefully will redesign my site in the next month and blog more frequently. I need to work a bit harder and put more time and effort though.

    Thanks

    Great Reminder John!

This is exactly why I started pursuing my own online career. I’m a great problem solver and I like to help other people solve their problems. Most importantly, I’d like to have the freedom to spend more time with my kids. I actually just wrote a post about following your own dreams instead of helping to support someone else’s.

    Follow Your Dreams…Not Your Boss’s

I recently became a subscriber to your site and it’s helped me tremendously over the past few weeks digging through the archives.

instead of simply telling the responsiblities of parenthood and our passion how passionately you describe the same fact with little creativity and make us realize the strength of this post; vow

  10. It’s all about teaching the next generation what you wish someone had told you.

Man, imagine what the world will look like when she’s our age. When i was her age video games had just came out there were no cell phones.

This is so true, John. In fact, I recently made a blog post on my site about this very subject too.

You absolutely need to know your “why” and then make plans on how you’re going to reach it. Otherwise the likelihood is you’ll end up going round in circles

I love all the pictures and videos John. I believe that’s the real reason you have such a huge following. People can relate to that and see what you are really about.

Your reason why is easy to see for anyone that follows you.

    Mike
