Interlinking has been proven to help optimize your website and link-juice does get passed through the pages.

WP Simple URL’s

When writing content frequently, you need to have a system in place to manage your URL’s. This is EXACTLY what this plug-in controls. It’s a complete URL management system that allows you create, manage, and track outbound links from your site by using custom post types and 301 redirects.

It simply streamlines the process in which you manage your URL’s by adding a screen within your admin panel to tweak URL’s. The main thing is it will display everything in order so you can go through them making changes when you feel you need to.

Here’s a quick definition of what this plug-in does…

WP Minify grabs JS/CSS files in your generated WordPress page and passes that list to the Minify engine. The Minify engine then returns a consolidated, minified, and compressed script or style for WP Minify to reference in the WordPress header.

I have this plug-in installed on my larger websites and it does help increase the speed of my website. I actually did a cool case study and I was able to knock down load time from 5.85 to 3 seconds. However, many plug-ins do require .CSS and Java so this plug-in will block much of these files. You have to exclude a few from being minified by this plug-in. Once it’s configured correctly it will help speed up your website significantly.

Load time does help keep people on your website engaging with your content longer.
