Design your navigation like a Adsense Linkblock (are they named like that in US?) and store one over the navigation. The CTR will make a nice jump. I have seen some nice traffic from google because of this. About 1 week after I did this I started seeing a few of my pages in the 1 - 3 spot and a good increase of traffic and revenue. Regarding the wp_title(), I just hack the code in header.php to put the post title and then just hard code a couple of keywords - rather than the name of the blog.. Of course, you could make the name of the blog a couple of keywords. I believe that doing this is one of the most important SEO things you can do. Good info though.
