humping_dog_mod.jpg

Remember that USB humping dog that did nothing but hump the USB port? Well it seems some guy with too much time on his hands tried to rip it apart in an attempt to install some flash memory inside.

After pulling the dog apart, he found there was simply no room for any memory components. That would normally stop the average person but it doesn’t stop someone with nothing better to do. The intrepid hacker went with plan B - solder the parts on the outside. The best thing about the mod is the dog only humps during data transfer.

The original USB humping dog is currently sold out, but the company expects to have more stock in three weeks. Maybe the guy who made this mod can sell it to the manufacturer. Then we may get a humping dog that does more than just humps. Enjoy the video.

Wow that has to be the most pointless yet hilarious USB device I have ever seen! Id buy one even if it only humped; my friends would get a kick out of it :)

I love the way it only humps if the memory is being accessed. Maybe add some flashing LEDs when it’s humping for the commercial version.
