I will be the featured speaker at tomorrow’s Vancouver Internet Marketers Meetup. I’m putting my PowerPoint slides together right now and I’m really looking forward to it. Originally, we set the RSVP limit at 75 but we blew right passed it. Instead of turning people away, J Lounge made their main room available to us so we can accommodate 25 more people. At the time of the post we’re one RSVP away from a sell out. I’m pretty sure that spot will be taken in a little bit and then we’ll be back to the waiting list.
I’ll have nametags for everyone and the J Lounge has agreed to provide us with a discount on food (20%) and give us a beer special so come hungry/thirsty. No charge for this event so just show up and be ready to learn and meet other like minded people!
The meetup is set to start at 6:30pm and John will begin speaking at 7:00pm We are expecting almost 100 people so you’ll want to arrive early to do some networking and get a good seat.
I will have copies of my new book, Make Money Online: Roadmap of a Dot Com Mogul, available for the sale during the meetup. The price is $15 and I’ll be happy to sign it after the presentation, which will be on how to launch your own product on the Internet. Josh Rimer, the organizer of the meetup, told me that he’ll be steaming the presentation live at JoshRimer.com so all those who can’t make it to Vancouver will be able to tune in at 7PM PST and watch it. See you tomorrow!

One of the most common complaint (or excuse) I hear from potential new bloggers is they don’t know how to install WordPress. Terms like FTP and CPanel are like a foreign language and setting up a database might as well be setting up the space shuttle for a launch. Because of the technology barrier, many would-be bloggers never start their blogs...

That’s great John, there will be a live stream, hopefully!
Where can we watch the live stream? Which website?
Thanks,
Nabeel
The live stream will be at http://www.JoshRimer.com – there will be a new blog post that’ll go up around 6:30pm and the video will start streaming at 7pm just before John starts his talk!
Thanks! Josh for making it available …Appreciate it!
The time is PST right? I don’t want to miss it!
Yes, 7:00PM PST.
That sounds good John, I wish I knew about it sooner. Will have to juggle the things I planned already but will do my best to watch it.
It would help if the video could be made available later for those who can’t make it for whatever reason and those in different time zones who will be sleeping at that time or working their jobs.

Indeed! I’d love to watch a live stream
I should come up to Canada for this! I live in Michigan and got a passport, it would only be a few hours drive at the most..
It would take more than a few hours drives. Vancouver is on the west coast.
ROFL…. wow.. yea a few days drive my bad.. shit..
I’m with you Dino. Sounds like there’s so much amazing stuff going on in Vancouver. Got to make the trip one of these days, and make sure to attend Dot Com Pho!
A group of us in the U.S. should make the trip together. I don’t really like traveling alone, especially to a different country.
Good way to save on gas too…
I will definitely listen to your livestream. Or if I can’t make it, I hope one good soul can post the video.. I don’t want to miss this one since I know it will be very good. Thanks
I hope so too, I am in a completely other time zone, but would love to watch a video about this. Any plans, John? SY
If you ever do a tour of Australia please let us know.
He could always do a JV with Darren

John, congrats on being the featured speaker – that’s awesome. Would it be possible to upload a video of your speech and/or PowerPoint after the presentation. I know I could learn a tremendous amount from it!
Josh, thanks for the live stream! I’m lucky enough to be attending tonight, but I was wondering if you’ll be able to save the video file from the live stream? John Chow is so amazing that I would love to be able to enjoy his presentation without taking notes. Thank you!
if only i live in canada…
great work there john sifu
Won’t make it, but I’ll see you at ASE.
John, congratulations on being one of the speakers. You’re truly one of a kind.
Cheers,
Gary
Any news about a video for those that couldn’t follow the live stream due to work and / or different time zone? SY

I am yet to watch full video of this.
Although this one is in my to do list but because of hectic schedule I am not able to.
