View From The Top Of The World
written by John Chow on April 15th, 2007

Here are a few pictures from the top observation deck of the CN Tower. As I explained in my last post, the top deck of the CN Tower has a very low ceiling - if I jump I would bump my head on it. At 1,500 feet, the CN Tower observation deck is the highest in the world - if the tower was a normal building, the observation deck would be on floor 147.
The view down isn’t much better than at the main observation deck. The main difference is the nearby buildings looks even smaller. What’s really cool is not looking down but looking out. At this height, you can see the curvature of the Earth. here’s a few more photos.

I swear to god, the only time John doesn’t look evil is when he’s holding Sally. No seriously…I mean, if he was holding a baby panda…
Reply to this commentStill a little bit evil looking.

Reply to this commentI am just sitting here at my computer and those views make me dizzy!
Great pictures. Um…just wondering, if you changed your hair height, would you fit in the room better?

Reply to this commentI get almost sick just looking at those pics, I hate heights! One of my biggest fears.
Oh, and the ceiling seems a bit low… yeah, because you are pretty tall! How tall are you BTW?
Reply to this commentAh yes the CN Tower. I have been up to the top also. The view is truely amazing!
Strange though, I don’t remember the ceiling being so low, I guess I was only 17 but still.
Reply to this commentThe world is only getting smaller and smaller, isn’t it? With, what, technology, hormones, frequent-flyer miles…I’m surprised we could all still fit in it!
Reply to this commentI love observation decks. This post has inspired me to go up another one as soon as possible.

I wonder how John overcomes the fear of heights [i.e. if he has any
]
Reply to this commentJohn is fearless, evil, and so good at what he does…looks like the altitude doesn’t bother Sally one bit either!
Reply to this commentQuality! I’d love to go there.
To be honest guys, for me when I was up the Eiffel Tower, it was looking up that made me feel wierd. Looking down isn’t an issue - for me at least.
Reply to this commentWas the guy on the elevator taking you up a Chinese boy with long hair? If so that’s my brother
