John Chow dot Com reader Bart Pair has entered Joel Comm’s Next Internet Millionaire contest. Bart is trying to win an all expenses paid trip to the world’s first Internet based reality show. If all goes well, Bart will win the $25,000 cash and get an opportunity to make a million dollars doing a joint venture with Joel. To enter the contest, Bart has to make an audition video and get people to vote for him. Public opinion counts for approximately 50% of the total score to make it to the next round.
Bart could have sent me an email asking for help getting votes and I likely would have done so because it would be really cool to have a reader win. However, Bart didn’t take that route. Instead, he ordered a ReviewMe review to make sure I get the word out. That tells me that Bart is very serious about this competition and will do whatever it takes to win. I wonder if any of the other competitors are spending money on their promotion.
When Bart first heard of Joel’s contest, he knew nothing about making a video. He had to learn everything in ten days and judging by the looks of his video, it shows. But that is OK because the other audition videos are nothing to write home about either. When Bart makes it through to the next round, he plan to make a better video.
In order to make it to next round, he needs your votes. So take a view of Bart’s video below and then head over to Next Internet Millionaire and vote for Bart. Right now, Bart has 488 votes and an overall score of 4.60. I am not sure if the audition is based on number of votes, highest rating, or a combination of both, but it sure would be nice to have a reader on the show.
Good luck Bart. You have my vote.

Sure I’ll vote…. But do I get percentages if he wins? J/K, I wish him all the luck in the world…
I’ll be voting for him too! I wish him the best of luck! Joel Comm seriously needs to get some new video production staff though! That “He has learned a lot in 10 short days” title was there for ages!
Voted
Excellent move on Bart’s part to have you reviewing him! He has my vote too!
Yeah, I agree, the ReviewMe request to up his chances in the contest is pretty innovative (smart, too).
bart must be regretting that he didn’t email you first
nice video, good review
Here’s wishing the best to Bart! Boy, wouldn’t it be nice if he actually raked it all in!
Good luck on the $25,000 my friend.
Shine on,
Aaron
best of luck bart..hope you win !!
BTW John, I fully agree; the other audition videos were definitely nothing to write home about.
And that so-called “hypnotist” (Matt from California) surely proves it. Ha! He uses a very OLD and pathetic arrow-breaking trick to start off his video. What a total charlatan. It’s a shame that some of these people are even allowed to do business online.
Now I really hope that someone in our online circle wins.
Pretty smart Bart. Good luck, dude.
Best luck Bart, I really think that you will not win, but, you will get a decent increase in your web traffic, fair enough ?
Bart gets my vote
John, you need to get on this ASAP. I want a 10% agent fee for suggesting this.
Cute video! Good luck Bart, I voted for ya!

I have already voted for him and i saw the votes has gone up to 585 and his overall score is also gone up to 5.25
Which him all the best outcome.
I just checked and he’s up to 627 votes. That ReviewMe has done pretty well for him I’d say.
yeah, he’s gotten a ton of exposure that way.
definitely
Something tells me he just got himself a tons of votes
good luck buddy
after the exposure at john chow dot com, he sure has got the support
Good luck Bart
Voted for him
got my vote
Thanks everyone.
When I found out about this contest I jumped on Elance looking for someone to help me put a video together. I didn’t know a thing about video and well I screwed up a bunch of things. We finally had to scrap my original ideas and just salvage it into something watchable. Which is what you see.
The best thing is if I make it to the second round I get to submit another video. This one will be much better, and give you a little more insight into who the hell I actually am, and why you might want to vote for me.
Thanks again for the votes.
Bart
I wish you great luck, though I’m not quite sure what to make of the video!
Hmm, i wish that guy luck as well. However, Joel Comm isn’t doing this as a great promotional tool for his brand…clever thinking.
sure it is
Good luck to you Mr. Bart! I voted for you also.. Hope you will win the contest… Cheer!s
I wouldn’t mind participating in the event if not for the fact that I am stuck working (can’t just get up and quit when I have bills and obligations - making money online isn’t growing as fast as John’s business ^_^)
Bart’s got my vote, too — even gave him a 10 (for undeniable gusto and effort). I hope he gets in and wins eventually…represent!
Bart is even better looking than Joel with his wig and fake goatee.
He’s got my vote. He should have changed his name to Bart Comm. He and Joe could be Bro’s!
well, good luck with it
it sounds like a cool concept
Bart’s chances just got a little better with John Chow readers backing him up.
I think it’s a terrible video … but I’ll give him props for taking action and generation some attention.
