We Don’t Care About Your Blog

I woke up this morning and saw a Twitter from Vancouver’s local blogging DJ, Buzz Bishop. Not only does the Buzz have good taste in wines, he also comes up with a few funny videos once in a while. This one is by Kiah Tucker and he doesn’t care about your blog. Kiah is an Aussie who like to rap. He doesn’t blog.

While Kiah may not care about your blog, it’s clear he has seen the power of blogging. Otherwise, why write a song about it? Maybe if Kiah can see some of the good that can come from blogging, he may care a bit more. Anyway, I like the song and if I ever get on a milk crate at a future Ideas on Tap, I think this song will be my pitch.

Yes, i agree that when money comes in to the picture it often changes peoples mind quite fast.

creative reverse marketing and I am sure you will go to his site.

We don't care about your blog.

We Dont care about your blog ..... We dont care about your blog LOL pretty jokes song. I wonder who its about

I don't care about his video either so we are even.

@ferdinand, hoho, same as me. I care bout you!

Nice song...but I care about your blog.

it was a bit harsh but all true ....

I care about your blog... :)

Very good viral video, at least got your attention!

Obvious linkbait.

Cared to create a video of things that he didn't cared about :D

Not much of a video, more like a Power Point presentation with a voiceover.

At least he was a decent rapper and somewhat clean too. God forbid someone trying this with a human beat box.

Is anyone up to doing a rebuttal?

That's the problem with most blogs. They're entirely self-centered. The best blogs think about the reader first.

Just write YOU alot. It's like Obama saying MIDDLE CLASS.

its all true anyway, some people REALLY do feel like that... either way it was an entertaining Rap... I hope he makes a Music Video on it too!!!

John, A great viral marketing opportunity was missed here!

He should youtube this and go on WebLogs.com and ping.fm.com and run this song on the billboard top 100!

+A video. Would watch again.

Funny stuff...

...I think this is attacking personal blogs more than anything. But when it comes to other blogs, it raises a great point - "find ways to make people care about your blog!"

Oh, and maybe another - "don't try and push your blog on those that aren't interested".

I stick to the mantra "if you build it, they will come". People tend to gravitate toward others of like mindedness. No need to force your blog on people, just do what you do and kindred spirits will find you.

Debo - he's Australian, not British

Yeah, their accents are always very similar and confusing. It's hard to tell the difference unless you really listen closely.

I think that song was written about ShoeMoney.

Oh that was so cute, of course I think British rappers are so cute anyway. They try so hard;)

He will care about blogging once she find out how to use it properly and how to make money from it

No kidding! Money usually changes peoples minds.

Yep. Money talks & BS walks.

hahah! I guess if you don't like blogging you should rap about it? Either way, its making him money.

Ouch! That's not so nice of him is it? But it's sorta true.

Now, we can be a little nicer than that can't we :) LOL

lol - very clever. He took a lot of time and energy to write and rap about something that he didn't care about!

I know! I did a you tube rap song once.

Oh yeah? I'd be interested in hearing that one.

That was Whack, at least for me and anyone who has a taste for pure rap! It was only hillarious!

I agree the song wasnt that great - at best it kept me entertained for about 5 seconds -then I flipped over to an mp3 of T.I.

I wish there were a dance to go along with the audio! That would make it way better!

lol, I know. I might as well just give up blogging now. ;)

He has creativity, I'll give him that. I think he should try blogging and see if he likes it.
