We Raised Over $7,500 for the Union Gospel Mission
It started off slow but it got kicked into high gear when I offered to match donations to the Union Gospel Mission’s Easter meal drive at 2 to 1.
Fifty five readers stepped up to the plate and donated a total of $2,505.97 to help feed the hungry this Easter. I want to give special recognition to Free Money Finance for their $1000 donation and Quinton Pullen for his $400 contribution. A big thank you also goes out to the following readers who made donations:
Adam Rubenstein, Jürgen “ZZZ” Zahrl, Mark Blair, Rachel Duncan, Robert Lam, Jeremy, Mark Givens, Michael Henry, Krishna Pillai, Siva Kyasa, Rick McBride, Gary Ng, Shawn Knight, Mike James, Alan LeStourgeon, ChaoFan Ltd., Joseph Patterson, Christoph Puetz, John Zuncke, Idea Feeder, Brian Nguyen, Jian Jye See, Brandon Adcock, Israel Lagares, Keith Lock, Walt Breuninger, Andrew B, Think Like An SOB, Michael Kwan, Patrick Hankinson, Nick Morlan, Simon Lau, McGrath Info Solution, Ramon Deterink, Jonathan Radande, Dave Chevalier, Raymond Liu, Jimson Lee, Dino Hadzic, Philip Yong, Nick Turner, Gather Success, Nishadha Silva, Greg Morgan, Danny Chang, Alan Whitton, Marita, Tom Tessin, Chris Merrill, John Kim, Melvin Richardson.
I can’t express how overwhelm I am by the outpouring of support you have given this worthy cause. I said I would match your donations at 2 to 1 and I am happy to do so. I’ve just sent the UGM my donation for $5,011.94 to bring our total donations up to $7,517.91. That’s enough to feed over 2,900 people!
Thank you for your support.
