What Are Your New Years Plans?

How do you plan to ring in the new year? Are you going to a big party or staying home? New Year’s Eve is always special for me because is happens to the night I met Sarah. I was with some friends at a New Year’s party at the Plaza of Nation in downtown Vancouver. Sarah was with her friends and we just kind a bumped into each other. The rest as they say, is history.

I don’t have anything big planned for this new year. I’m going to stay home and take it easy. With the recent snow storm and icy road conditions, going out in traffic with potential drunk drivers isn’t my idea of fun. Instead, we’ll have a diner at home and ring in the new year on the Internet. What will you be doing?

I have spend my time with long lost friends and family gathering.

Having read about millions that bloggers earned last year and was greatly inspired to do the same.I get started in a minute.

I just unplugged and watched some movies with loved ones. I tell ya though, I wouldn't of spent my time any other way and had a blast even though it was a quiet night at home.

i hope i can earn more money online. Haha..This is my new year resolution.

WE have just visited the city park with a company of my friends where the huge New Year Tree was erected two weeks ago.The panorama of the holiday is majestic. I enjoyed being out of doors.

As it is upon us now, no plans, will be at home working on sites for 2009. No time like the present.

Its 8pm here, going to a block party, which i can walk to. No Drinking and Driving.

WE are sitting already at the party table ready to raise glasses of wine and say congratulations to each other.

After a busy Christmas season,I just want to sleep!

Should be fun!

We're going to drink up with my boyfriend. I'll probably be on the internet myself as well.

Drink up me hearties, yo ho.

As for me, I won't be doing anything special except stay at home and play games all night! And when I get tired of playing games-I'll be watching Asian scary movies!

I think that i will be at home working on wedding pics.

Well I am going to work on new years and the day after. I will celebrate the actual new year with my girlfriend at her parents place. Probably do analyze the entire 2008 (the 3-5 months I have been blogging) in terms of traffic through google analytics.

Turn it into a video and make that a yearly and monthly event.

Hi John,

For New Year's Eve we always host an open house dinner party with games and a jam session with our friends.

Kid friendly beverages and one glass of champagne for the adults as appropriate.

Next day, Jan 1, 2009 up early at 7;00 am to watch the Rose Parade from Pasadena, CA and then the classic Rose Bowl college football game with chili and beans over at the Mother-in-Law's house.

Happy New Year to your and your family John, it's great to know you!

Respectfully,

I have stayed home and celebrated the new year on the internet in the past. Unfortunately, these days I work New Year's Eve, so, I will be raising a glass of (non alcoholic) cheer at work. Let's hope the next 12 months make me able to change all that next December 31st!

Hi John

Several years ago and for many years before that I managed a nite Club. I always had to be at this club on New Years Eve. It was a big deal in our little community and I put much time and effort into making it a big event for every one to come to. That was fine for every one who came and enjoyed the event, however it was sure a bunch or work and headaches for me.

Now the club is closed due to the no smoking ban. It seems that non smokers do not spend much money, and smokers cannot spend money when they are outside smoking.

Anyway I have enjoyed the past several years spending a nice peaceful New Years Eve with my parents and their friends. Now that I am 50 something and they are 70 something the age difference seems very little and we all have a good time. I never would have thought that could happen 30 years ago when my New Years Eves always consisted of some pretty wild parties.

It is amazing how time changes everything.

I'm super excited about my plans for this New Year!

I'm flying to Switzerland on New Year's Eve to begin a 5 month trip through Europe on my bicycle. I'll be blogging, bicycling in the cold and snow, and working via my laptop the entire time I am in Europe. The best part is, most of my clients/customers won't even know I'm out of the country. I'll be playing during the day and then working (as little as possible) at night. Ah - the joys of the mobile lifestyle!

I've only got one day to pack and get ready, so I better run! Have a great 2009 everybody!

Me ll spend the day with family..

What about the 6000$ contest results??
i dont see it in the posts..

The results were in the latest Dot Com Pho video.

Stay home and get ready for football on New Years Day. Plan my resolutions.

New Years Eve is amateur night for partiers, safer to stay home.
