It’s also good to visualise stuff you would like like to do when looking at that ten year picture - not just the material things you want to have. If you’ve bought things before - you’ll know how quickly the novelty of material things wears off.

You make great points - especially the one about those who think they know it all. “I know” is one of the most negative things we can say because it prevents us from learning new things.
