What Is Web 2.0?
written by John Chow on February 9th, 2007
This video titled, “Web 2.0 … The Machine is Us/ing Us” was created by Michael Wesch, an Assistant Professor of Cultural Anthropology at Kansas State University. I think it really captures the essence of what Web 2.0 is.

Where is my brain controlled cursor though?
I am still waiting to be able to download my brain onto a computer and delete stuff I don’t want and upload stuff I want to learn!
This was a pretty cool video though. I’m not really seeing much of a center point to it though. What is he trying to say?
Is where the internet going wrong? Is it going the right way but in the wrong fashion? It had me a little lost on a few parts.
Reply to this commentNice video, already saw it and blogged about it, I think the term ‘Web 2.0′ is mainly marketing/hype than an actual refreshing thing on the web, but that’s not too important.
Reply to this commentYa, I put this video on my blog 3 or 4 days ago too..
it’s a great video.
From what I know, the video is still under editing work, and they will come up with a finalized version soon!

Reply to this commentYeah FF 1.5 doesn’t like video’s on John’s blog. But once you update your FF it will work!
Reply to this commentWhen I click ‘Check for Updates’ it says none are available! I’m running 1.5.0.9. Are you suggesting I move to an alpha product?!
Reply to this commentNo, move to the 2.0.1 line, it’s a separate development thread so your 1.5 browser doesn’t see it as an upgrade.
Reply to this comment2.xxx lines are much better..
