How about getting something like this…
    http://www.alphasmart.com/Retail/

Then you can spend time with your girlfriend and blog on the go.

I actually use my T-Mobile MDA for a similar purpose through a program called Pocket Text Editor. It outputs a basic .txt file. The thumb QWERTY isn’t the best, but it certainly is portable.

And I bet she also says, that you love more your computer than her (thats the same identical way my GF acts). Well sometimes she is right…i mean, to complain not about that I love my computer more than her

Oooo, oooo, oooo, I got a mention!!!!

I kept up my end of the bargagin, blogged a daily post for 3 weeks, but it was hard at times. There were some days when I didn’t want to blog for poopie poo. What helped was putting some of my posts in a queue, so even when I wasn’t in the mood to blog, I could rely on a scheduled post being published to fulfill my daily quota.

My traffic hasn’t increased much, but I HAVE noticed that blogging seems to be less of a chore now, and more of a routine. I also think that it helps to keep your posts short, between 200-500 words. Don’t set the bar so high for yourself in terms of how long your blog posts need to be. You don’t need to wait until you’re inspired to write a 30,000 word thesis on a topic. That was a mentality I had to fight myself.

Blogging for money is hard!!! Have to put a lot of time and effort. Unless you have too much free time or it’s your fulltime job, otherwise blogging for money is not for everyone!!!

I took the advice and blogged nearly daily for the past month. I also submitted some of my blog posts to some web sites with similar content and let them use the content for free as long as they plugged my blog. I participated in a couple of blog carnivals as well. The result? My traffic went from about 100 page views in August (I started in late July), to nearly 6,000 page views in September, so I would say it was definitely a success. My blogging income has also increased a bit, but I’m nowhere near John Chow-type money. If I could only figure out some better ways of monitizing my blog and increasing the page views, I think it will pay off in the long run, but I’m not complaining about my short term success.

Probably the thing I struggle with the most is taking on too many online ventures at once. It can get stressful trying to maintain a daily blog, but it gets done somehow.
