I usually don't want to read every new article on a site, just those that interest me. I check my feeds in <a href="http://www.ifaves.com" rel="nofollow">iFaves</a>, which shows a nice pop-up of the feed content when I mouseover the headline, and then I can decide to click and read the full article or not. And since I run web sites myself, I can appreciate the need to bring visitors to the site rather than just give your content away off-site. I also prefer “summary” feeds rather than full feeds.
