Well, I’m gonna be the first to comment, but I have no funds at the moment… sorry… :)

Joy Smith July 8, 2008 at 4:52 pm

Cool offer. It doesn’t work when you don’t have the money to get started..hehe Best of luck to everyone who does get this offer!

OC Golf Course July 8, 2008 at 5:06 pm

But it’s only $15!

Austin(Cowsgonemadd3) July 9, 2008 at 12:46 pm

Ahh come on get a credit car, you will be getting the money back anyways.

matt July 8, 2008 at 4:53 pm

seems like a lot of work for $10

Giyen July 8, 2008 at 5:07 pm

I agree. But, then again, $10 is 1/4 of a tank of gas right now!

kahoongchai July 8, 2008 at 8:48 pm

hahaha..bring out gas issue again..
John is helping everyone, but is it better to just give out the e-book for free without taking credit card ? I dowan the $10 profit but i wan the e-book free..

OC Golf Course July 8, 2008 at 4:59 pm

This is a great idea! Maybe I should try this too….

Krsto July 8, 2008 at 5:34 pm

I had my share of sand kicked in my face, but I’ve come through…

wisdom July 8, 2008 at 5:38 pm

Not a bad offer at all.

kahoongchai July 8, 2008 at 8:52 pm

Actually it’s a nice offer, but i’m not qualified to get it, because im not US reader

Utah SEO Pro July 8, 2008 at 5:39 pm

Good incentive idea. Unfortunately I can’t accept.

Erica July 8, 2008 at 5:45 pm

Seems like a good offer! Interesting way of marketing the products.

Krsto July 8, 2008 at 5:48 pm

This is just to show us that we should all cut the crap, and start doing something that will bring more money. I should go to sleep now, it’s 2:56 in the morning here… See you guys tomorrow!

Jason July 8, 2008 at 5:54 pm

Shouldn’t you be off ruining your contestants chances rather than posting on this ‘how i con people to make money blog’?

John Chow July 8, 2008 at 6:17 pm

I do what it takes to win. I’m sure you can understand that.

feel reality July 8, 2008 at 9:57 pm

I’m sure the contestants are getting their share too. They don’t seem to disappointed to be dropping like flies. I think they’re just hanging around for their cut when it’s over.

abdul July 8, 2008 at 10:47 pm

Yea, they’re hardly part of the game, when people like John are around.

Nicholas James July 9, 2008 at 2:17 pm

But John isn’t conning though is he…he’s explained the terms.

Syed Balkhi July 8, 2008 at 5:57 pm

Smart technique John, Get the first 20 people who did it and the rest who gets the money just gets you commission :P I will pass.

Gerard July 8, 2008 at 6:08 pm

I hate being under aged for PayPal

Nicholas James July 9, 2008 at 2:49 pm

Use a parents.

kahoongchai July 8, 2008 at 6:28 pm

iPhon Canada July 8, 2008 at 6:36 pm

Ok – I’ll take one – Thanks.

Ganesh July 8, 2008 at 6:48 pm

Isn’t this an evil way to help you win the Affiliate challenge?

Wade July 8, 2008 at 6:51 pm

I probably just made $10 reading this post. Maybe if it was like enter your email to win. But not to spend $15 to make $25. Sorry, not enough ROI for me.

Shudogg Dot Com – Make Money Online Blogging

Gaje Master July 8, 2008 at 7:51 pm

I don’t think that it is a bad deal but on the other hand, this is a popular blog and I would be one of the unlucky few who order the stuff and not get a gift card. I like the idea of it though.

kahoongchai July 8, 2008 at 8:45 pm

I think it wont happen in JohnChow dot com, he is pro blogger, scam will not bring him profit (Future profit)
Trust him

Jono July 8, 2008 at 8:02 pm

or you could see this as a chance to return the favor to John who provides us all with information and inspiration for making money online.

Dice July 8, 2008 at 8:04 pm

I don’t really like using prepaid credit cards. Not worth the effort for me sorry.

kahoongchai July 8, 2008 at 8:42 pm

Me too, never use Credit Card

Shaun Carter July 8, 2008 at 9:45 pm

Anyone not using credit cards is CRAZY! I have gotten hundreds of dollars already this year in free merchandise and cash back just for using my credit cards (and I pay it off in full every month).

TYCP Entertainment Magazine July 9, 2008 at 5:21 pm

That’s nuts. My credit card is a lifesaver.

Elisha Terada July 8, 2008 at 9:54 pm

This is interesting way to market your product. Wonder how many responses you will get…

TYCP Entertainment Magazine July 8, 2008 at 10:05 pm

Interesting offer. Good luck to everyone that does it!

Random question John: what camera was used to take that picture? I like the quality.

Gerard July 8, 2008 at 11:14 pm

HOLD ON JOHN. We’re both are Canadian. Is this available to Canadian readers as well? It would be weird if not

Ronald Su July 9, 2008 at 12:09 am

you look scary in that picture….

Clickusername July 9, 2008 at 12:19 pm

just like how the Evil One should look.

fas July 9, 2008 at 5:14 am

I would have taken this offer but not a US resident.

Clickusername July 9, 2008 at 12:14 pm

I think John should do a similar promo for non-US readers in the future, when he’s not under the constraints of a TAC-like environment.

Austin(Cowsgonemadd3) July 9, 2008 at 12:45 pm

Sounds cool to me. Good info and a free 10 bucks…

wiili July 9, 2008 at 12:58 pm

why only for US readers?

Wes Wyatt July 9, 2008 at 1:10 pm

Will there be cards in the packaging you send out? I don’t want to get Carl’d! ;)

Free poker July 9, 2008 at 2:12 pm

Only US? ahh :???:

OC Golf Course July 9, 2008 at 2:18 pm

I really hope that John posts the results of this ie how many people signed up etc.

Austin(Cowsgonemadd3) July 10, 2008 at 5:27 pm

Only 20 people could get the free cards but I guess a lot more signed up for the good info.

Jose July 9, 2008 at 6:06 pm

well i took up the offer. Hopefully informative information and get money back to boot.

James Wilcox July 9, 2008 at 8:58 pm

OK John, I’m game. These are two good products and you can expect me to give the visa card away on my own blog in August.

James Wilcox July 10, 2008 at 12:42 am

John I ordered both of these, but I had the option of choosing a cheaper delivery cost for the second item. I hope this counts…I hate to say it but the landing page was awful and sped me through the process…maybe too much.

fas July 10, 2008 at 11:32 am

Area all of the cards sold out?

Austin(Cowsgonemadd3) July 10, 2008 at 5:25 pm

Yes they are. They sold out quick.

Forumistan July 10, 2008 at 11:47 am

Seems like a lot of work for $10

Austin(Cowsgonemadd3) July 10, 2008 at 5:25 pm

Hardly, all you would have had to do was buy the two things and then send him a email with proof. Its not hard at all. If it took you a hour or a little over thats more than minimum wage.

Mike Huang July 10, 2008 at 6:13 pm

Hmmm, each of those offers usually pay out $10-15 on a “Get Paid To” site, but if John goes directly through the network, he should be earning $30 or more just from the people that sign up to those offers. Smart strategy, but I hope that those offers don’t have more charges…

-Mike

Mike Huang July 10, 2008 at 6:15 pm

BTW, how many people did this “offer”? If it’s over 20, how would you refund the people that couldn’t make it…? :(

-Mike

James Wilcox July 10, 2008 at 10:20 pm

There’s one catch John Didn’t mention…the kit they send you is $35 if you decide to keep it and use it. Of course if you can make more money than that in a short enough time period using what you’ve learned it’s worth it…still waiting to hear from John if I got one of the cards.

Hosting Reviews July 14, 2008 at 12:57 pm

What ? US only that sucks

James Wilcox July 14, 2008 at 7:49 pm

I just got the “Online Handbook” which it turns out is an introductory package with no information at all whatsoever by Online Business Systems. John did you read this thing before you pitched it to us? As it turns out, on further investigation, this company wants to sign you up to sell Herbalife and as part of their recruitment system you also sell this “Handbook” to others to get them interested. Not my bag at all and I’m sending this back to avoid the additional $39.95 “to cover the cost of the materials” which amount to a pitch about online marketing (nothing I didn’t already know) and a dvd pitching the same information along with an audio cd of the same. I feel like I was suckered John…but the other thing you offered was worthwhile and has some good information all delivered via pdf files.

Geiger July 21, 2008 at 6:40 am

John, do you know if you can use the gift cards online?

Rob July 28, 2008 at 2:11 pm

John, I received my gift card last week, and when I went shopping on Sunday I was told by the cashier there was only $8.05 on it. What happened to the other $16.95?

Robert August 7, 2008 at 6:29 pm

Thanks, John, for following up and fixing things. Thanks a million!

mr nice guy July 8, 2008 at 9:39 pm

Well I am interested too. The only problem is that I am not from the US hehehe  :???:

abdul July 8, 2008 at 10:38 pm

I wonder why people are blogging about this in their blogs, haven’t got anything better to talk about?

Nicholas James July 9, 2008 at 2:12 pm

Probably a scraper.
