  1. Krsto says:

Cool offer. It doesn’t work when you don’t have the money to get started..hehe Best of luck to everyone who does get this offer!

    1. But it’s only $15!

    2. Ahh come on get a credit car, you will be getting the money back anyways.

  3. matt says:

seems like a lot of work for $10

    1. Giyen says:

I agree. But, then again, $10 is 1/4 of a tank of gas right now!

      1. kahoongchai says:

hahaha..bring out gas issue again.. 😆
John is helping everyone, but is it better to just give out the e-book for free without taking credit card ? I dowan the $10 profit but i wan the e-book free.. 😆

  4. This is a great idea! Maybe I should try this too….

  5. Krsto says:

I had my share of sand kicked in my face, but I’ve come through…

  6. wisdom says:

Not a bad offer at all.

    1. kahoongchai says:

Good incentive idea. Unfortunately I can’t accept.

Seems like a good offer! Interesting way of marketing the products.

  9. Krsto says:

This is just to show us that we should all cut the crap, and start doing something that will bring more money. I should go to sleep now, it’s 2:56 in the morning here… See you guys tomorrow!

  10. Jason says:

Shouldn’t you be off ruining your contestants chances rather than posting on this ‘how i con people to make money blog’? 💡

    1. John Chow says:

I do what it takes to win. I’m sure you can understand that. 😈

      1. feel reality says:

I’m sure the contestants are getting their share too. They don’t seem to disappointed to be dropping like flies. I think they’re just hanging around for their cut when it’s over.

        1. abdul says:

Yea, they’re hardly part of the game, when people like John are around.

    2. But John isn’t conning though is he…he’s explained the terms.

  11. Syed Balkhi says:

Smart technique John, Get the first 20 people who did it and the rest who gets the money just gets you commission 😛 I will pass.

  12. Gerard says:

I hate being under aged for PayPal 😐

Isn’t this an evil way to help you win the Affiliate challenge? 😈

  16. Wade says:

I probably just made $10 reading this post. Maybe if it was like enter your email to win. But not to spend $15 to make $25. Sorry, not enough ROI for me.

Shudogg Dot Com – Make Money Online Blogging

  17. Gaje Master says:

I don’t think that it is a bad deal but on the other hand, this is a popular blog and I would be one of the unlucky few who order the stuff and not get a gift card. I like the idea of it though.

    1. kahoongchai says:

I think it wont happen in JohnChow dot com, he is pro blogger, scam will not bring him profit (Future profit)
      Trust him 😀

  18. Jono says:

or you could see this as a chance to return the favor to John who provides us all with information and inspiration for making money online.

  19. Dice says:

I don’t really like using prepaid credit cards. Not worth the effort for me sorry.

    1. kahoongchai says:

Me too, never use Credit Card

      1. Shaun Carter says:

Anyone not using credit cards is CRAZY! I have gotten hundreds of dollars already this year in free merchandise and cash back just for using my credit cards (and I pay it off in full every month).

      2. That’s nuts. My credit card is a lifesaver.

  20. This is interesting way to market your product. Wonder how many responses you will get…

  21. Interesting offer. Good luck to everyone that does it!

Random question John: what camera was used to take that picture? I like the quality.

  22. Gerard says:

HOLD ON JOHN. We’re both are Canadian. Is this available to Canadian readers as well? It would be weird if not 😆

  23. Ronald Su says:

you look scary in that picture…. 😯

    1. just like how the Evil One should look.

  24. fas says:

I would have taken this offer but not a US resident.

  25. I think John should do a similar promo for non-US readers in the future, when he’s not under the constraints of a TAC-like environment.

  26. Sounds cool to me. Good info and a free 10 bucks…

  27. wiili says:

    why only for US readers?

  28. Wes Wyatt says:

Will there be cards in the packaging you send out? I don’t want to get Carl’d! 😉

  29. Free poker says:

    Only US? ahh 😕

  30. I really hope that John posts the results of this ie how many people signed up etc.

    1. Only 20 people could get the free cards but I guess a lot more signed up for the good info.

  31. Jose says:

well i took up the offer. Hopefully informative information and get money back to boot.

  32. James Wilcox says:

OK John, I’m game. These are two good products and you can expect me to give the visa card away on my own blog in August.

  33. James Wilcox says:

John I ordered both of these, but I had the option of choosing a cheaper delivery cost for the second item. I hope this counts…I hate to say it but the landing page was awful and sped me through the process…maybe too much.

  34. fas says:

Area all of the cards sold out?

    1. Yes they are. They sold out quick.

  35. Forumistan says:

Seems like a lot of work for $10

    1. Hardly, all you would have had to do was buy the two things and then send him a email with proof. Its not hard at all. If it took you a hour or a little over thats more than minimum wage.

  36. Mike Huang says:

Hmmm, each of those offers usually pay out $10-15 on a “Get Paid To” site, but if John goes directly through the network, he should be earning $30 or more just from the people that sign up to those offers. Smart strategy, but I hope that those offers don’t have more charges…

  37. Mike Huang says:

BTW, how many people did this “offer”? If it’s over 20, how would you refund the people that couldn’t make it…? 🙁

  38. James Wilcox says:

There’s one catch John Didn’t mention…the kit they send you is $35 if you decide to keep it and use it. Of course if you can make more money than that in a short enough time period using what you’ve learned it’s worth it…still waiting to hear from John if I got one of the cards.

  39. What ? US only that sucks

  40. James Wilcox says:

I just got the “Online Handbook” which it turns out is an introductory package with no information at all whatsoever by Online Business Systems. John did you read this thing before you pitched it to us? As it turns out, on further investigation, this company wants to sign you up to sell Herbalife and as part of their recruitment system you also sell this “Handbook” to others to get them interested. Not my bag at all and I’m sending this back to avoid the additional $39.95 “to cover the cost of the materials” which amount to a pitch about online marketing (nothing I didn’t already know) and a dvd pitching the same information along with an audio cd of the same. I feel like I was suckered John…but the other thing you offered was worthwhile and has some good information all delivered via pdf files.

  41. Geiger says:

John, do you know if you can use the gift cards online?

  42. Rob says:

John, I received my gift card last week, and when I went shopping on Sunday I was told by the cashier there was only $8.05 on it. What happened to the other $16.95?

  43. Robert says:

Thanks, John, for following up and fixing things. Thanks a million! 🙂
