Why I Don’t Believe In Get-Rich-Quick Programs

Yes you read that correctly.

I don’t believe in get-rich-quick programs. Any program that promises you millions without your primary input is definitely hiding something from you. When I came online, I joined over 10 email lists from all those clickbank vendors.

And do you know that I get nothing less than 20 emails daily, recommending one form of affiliate product or the other. Funny enough, almost all of these programs have bogus claims with no data to back up their claims. This is one of the ways to truly identify a ‘get-rich-quick’ scheme.

You come to the sales page. After reading it, you still can’t pinpoint what you’ll be doing after signing up. I’ve been working online for close to 10 years now and I can tell you vividly that “shortcut to wealth” is the quickest shortcut to lack.

The new marketing rule

If you want to make a lot of money on the internet, you’ve got to obey the new marketing rule. For any expert you respect such as John Chow and Darren Neil, amongst others, they’ve employed it to sell thousands worth of digital products within a short period of time.

The new rule is “transparency.

There is no need trying so hard to convince your readers to buy from you. If the product/service as you claim is truly helpful, then you don’t need to trick anyone into buying it. Psychologically, human beings do not like to lose a very precious thing.

That’s why $10 lost is much more valuable than $100 gained. The emotional trauma that goes right behind you when a consumer loses money can’t be compared to the joy of making any amount of close range. You’ve to become transparent from henceforth.

Remember your readers and target audience are human beings. First and foremost, they don’t deserve any form of trickery or hype.

People who came to your blog have given you a level of trust. All they want from you is that openness. Getting them to buy your product isn’t the problem – because it’s easier than you think.

The reason why you struggle to make enough sales on your affiliate product is because you’re using hype or trying to sound too-good-to-be-true.

Did you observe that every affiliate product advertised in this blog have proofs to back them up? I think I’ll have to commend John Chow for the honesty with his readers.

He went as far as packaging a report; well-written and simplified to help you understand how he makes millions with MTTB.

He never promises quick money, even though it can happen when you press the right buttons for those who have email lists or sure targeted traffic source. You’ve got to work on it and stay there until you get a GOOD result.

Wrapping it up

This post is a short one. My aim is to help reposition your thoughts in the right direction. You do not need to cheat, use tricks, hype or deception to sell your audience. They’re the reason why you’re a blogger. Without your readers, your internet lifestyle journey will be cut short.

Do you promise to be honest? Some bloggers who review bluehost and Hostgator do not use these providers. And there is nothing wrong with that. But make sure you tell the truth that currently you don’t use the host – you trust they’ll deliver abundantly. That’s what transparency is all about.

Has any marketer used marketing tricks and hype on you before? I want to read your comment and give you my response. Thank you for reading…
