Win a $500 John Chow dot Com Review
Want to win a free review on John Chow dot Com? Brian Park over at IBusinessTalk is holding a contest to give one away. To enter all you have to do is subscribe to his RSS by email and blog about his contest.
1. Subscribe my blog via email if you did not.
2. Write about my Blog & Contest, Leave trackback here. Link text should be “Make Money Online”
The rules are pretty straight forward. However, I would caution Brain about the requirement to link back to him using a specific key phase. He can do it but he’s also asking for a Google slap. I would remove the requirement if I was him. Or remove it from the post after the contest.
You have until the end of this month to get your entry in. The winner will be draw on October 1. If you’re the winner, Brian will pay the $500 it cost to buy a review on this blog. As a bonus, Brian will also be throwing in a 125×125 and a Peel Away ad spot for a Month on his blog.
In addition to IBusinessTalk, Brian also runs Coolest Gizmo. They’re giving away three MP3 players every month to three winners who subscribe to the blog. You may want to sign up there as well.

Good contest and I will enter
I’m surprised more people don’t do this, it seems you good deal to me. Pay $500 bucks, get a post all about your blog on John Chow.com and still have something to entice to new readers.
Me next month John?
Reply to this commentGood stuff. Entered!
Reply to this commentWow a lot of bloggers these days are using contests to gain readership fast.. I am wondering however about the economics of blog contests.. Whether it will be better to have one contest where people can win $500 or have say 50 contests where people can win $10/each.. That way you could definitely reach much more people..
Reply to this commentMore people would prefer the 500 than the $10
Reply to this commentYou’re right Clog. This is worth more than $500. I mean you get the site review by John Chow anyway and loads and loads of people want to win that review. I was already thinking about getting a review but to get it for free would be epic
Reply to this commentCopycats! We all know who started that idea…

A lot more tricks up my sleeve too. More marketing tactics coming soon to Winning the Web..
Reply to this commentI did not know you had same contest, I wish I could have more reply then your contest. I see you at Blog Mastermind forum.
Reply to this commentYeah, it’s definitely an effective contest idea but it takes a lot of marketing to do it well. Good luck to ya. I’m a part of Yaro’s Blog Mastermind and it has been a great resource - I initially signed up for it because John was offering a free review.
Reply to this commentDefinitely Will enter my tech blog for this awesome contest today or tomorrow!
My Goal: If I don’t win, Be featured on JC’s Website by the end of this year for either of my blogs!!!!
Think I can do it?… I mean I could pay and just be on here, but I want JC to want to feature me on the site!
Reply to this commentIt looks like a win-win situation to me. I’m really considering giving away one of these on my blog.
I wonder how well it would benefit me though.
