Win a Free Ticket To Elite Retreat!

written by John Chow on January 30, 2008

A $4,950 Grand Prize

How would you like to get some one-on-one time with the who’s who of Internet marketing? The Elite Retreat brings Jeremy Schoemaker, Aaron Wall, Neil Patel, Andy Liu and Brian Clark together for two days of intense training that will take your Internet business to the next level. There will also be a special keynote by Guy Kawasaki.

This is a serious seminar and comes with a serious price tag: $4,950. I’m sure everyone would love to the go to Elite Retreat but very few people can afford that kind of entry fee. Well, thanks to the incredible generosity of Rocket Profit, I’m able to offer one lucky winner a free ticket to the Elite Retreat!

The Elite Retreat is not for beginners. You should already have a site set up with some kind of business plan in place. The Elite team will work with you one-on-one to take your business from good to great, but they need you to have some basic understanding of Internet marketing – if you don’t know what an incentivised offer is, then you may want to find out before entering the contest. The winner will get a free ticket to the Elite Retreat. He will have to pay his own airfare and hotel. Here’s how to enter.

Prove That You Are Worthy

Sign up for an account at Rocket Profit. If you are already a Rocket Profit publisher, you can skip this part. Rocket Profit has all of the hottest offers on the web, as well as a wide array of exclusive proprietary deals. You should open an account even if you don’t enter the contest. The more revenue streams, the better.

Once you got your account, log in and choose an offer. Take that offer and explain in a blog post how you would market it. Would you set up a landing page? Would use you PPC? Email? Facebook? Etc. What made you choose that offer? The more information you provide, the better.

After making the post, send me an email with the URL so I check it out. On February 8, Shoemoney and I will look through all the entries and pick a winner. That person will receive a $4,950 ticket to the Elite Retreat, compliments of Rocket Profit. Good luck!

Rocket Pocket or Rocket Profit?

John Chow January 30, 2008 at 3:17 pm

Write on Buzz!

alexander batista January 30, 2008 at 8:12 pm

Good luck to anyone that enters!

Chris Jacobson January 30, 2008 at 3:21 pm

You’re going to pick the best entry, or a random entry? I’ll enter if it’s a random entry.

John Chow January 30, 2008 at 3:30 pm

Just enter. We haven’t decided. However, it will most likely be based on best entry.

David Chew February 1, 2008 at 6:04 am

That is nice.

Think Like An SOB January 30, 2008 at 3:30 pm

I think best entry pick is more suitable for this type of contest. Probably someone worthy of this invite, and not just someone random.

Start Blogging January 30, 2008 at 3:38 pm

I agree. I think it’s more fair that way, and shows they’ve put some effort into it.

SEO Optimization January 30, 2008 at 5:22 pm

Indeed, it would be fair enough that it gets selected the winner based on the quality of his post and what he/she has to say.

Hafiz Dhanani January 30, 2008 at 6:54 pm

Agreed. I think it would be wonderful if the person has some great ideas and doesn’t having formal expertise in the area. I’d love for this to open doors for a talented person.

limadang.com January 31, 2008 at 6:36 pm

I totally agree with you Think a like an sob…

Zac Johnson January 30, 2008 at 4:01 pm

I say pick a winner based off best quality. I may even enter this one!

Seopher January 30, 2008 at 4:09 pm

I’m with the SuperAffiliate on this one, best quality is a good way to judge it. I think most of your readers forget that *anyone* can write a good entry and shouldn’t be put off by the thought of going against the A-Listers.

David Chew February 1, 2008 at 6:06 am

That looks like a good idea.

Free Auto Blogs January 30, 2008 at 4:05 pm

This is a great contest idea and an awesome prize. Expect an entry from me.

Will all the posts be listed somewhere? I’d love to be able to check out everyone else’s ideas.

Seopher January 30, 2008 at 4:10 pm

Or just use something completely random, like the winner is the user whose entry used the letter “Y” the most.

I dare say it’s never been done before…

Affiliate Confession January 30, 2008 at 4:23 pm

I need to join Rocket Profit I hear about it everywhere. The contest is good motivation to get me to sign up.

Free Auto Blogs January 30, 2008 at 6:50 pm

I joined a couple of months back and they are now my number one earner. Definitely worth signing up for even just to take a look at the offers/payouts imo.

FrankJ January 30, 2008 at 4:32 pm

Another contest, man I can’t even win the pick three lottery using the same numbers for 5 years. I guess mother luck is not on my side.

Cheers all!

iBusiness January 30, 2008 at 5:18 pm

Just amazing..another great contest from Johnchow.com..I just approved from Rocketprofit last 4 days..some of offers payouts are highest. I am in.

Hafiz Dhanani January 30, 2008 at 6:52 pm

This is a fantastic opportunity. If you’re a good marketing/advertising campaigner I’d enter! The quality of speakers and high profiles at the event are too good to miss out. I can’t wait to read the winning post!

Keep up the good work,
Hafiz Dhanani

Hi John,

I don’t know if you remember be, but you blogged about my old website a year and a half ago from a SOHO business trade show. I’ll let you guess which business that was.

Anyhow, you came into Our Town Coffee shop and left after 5 minutes. We didn’t get to say ‘hi’. I’m new to bloggin, so forgive this noob.

Best,

Ron

John Chow January 31, 2008 at 10:21 am

Ya, I remember you. You were suppose to come to the party after to show us how to pick up girls but you didn’t show up!

Ronald January 31, 2008 at 10:35 am

I thought you were going to show me! haaaaa. Actually, after a long day at the trade show, a party was the last thing on my mind.

I love how awesome your blog is now, all I can say is you rock, I’m really impressed.
