John, I think you should award one ticket to me because WILL DEFINITELY arrive if i’m chosen! 🙂 i’m currently doing some affiliate marketing on my blog at, but would love the opportunity to go to the summit to meet you and some other “Affiliate Legends” to truly learn the ropes!

I really would love the opportunity to take my affiliate sales to the next level and to start living the “dot com lifestyle”. Since i already live in NYC, i’d be happy to show you around as well! I’ve been a John Chow supporter since the sport car theme as well! 🙂

I would love to attend the Affiliate Summit. I have been looking to become an affiliate as of late. I am working on redesigning my blog. I want to ramp it up bigtime. I have been watching your “How I Make $40,000 A Month From A Blog” non-stop as of late. I figure placing some affiliate spots on my blog will be a good thing to do as well as sell my own products. In addition, being from New York I know lots of great places to go in New York. Hope to hear from you!

  6. Mika says:

If you decide to award one ticket to me John, I will not go to the event (because I’m from Europe). Instead, I am going to sell the ticket to someone who could benefit from attending the summit.

With the money I’d get, I would buy myself and my girlfriend a three-day vacation at the beach to rest from hard work and part time blogging!

I’d also buy a postcard and send greetings to you & your family! 😉

    Hey John,

I’ve been involved in Affiliate Marketing for 5 years or so, but as with lots of other people have been facing some challenges in the last year with rising competition and the recession.

If I won this pass, it would really make going to the conference affordable, and it would give me the kick start to having a good income from affiliate marketing for the 2nd half of the year.

Looking forward to seeing you there.

  8. Hey John,

You should choose me because I am a good guy. Not only that, I can add value to Dot Com Pho – Pizza Addition. Both in my knowledge, enthusiasm, and personality. Additionally it would be fantastic if you choose me to receive a gold pass. I’ve arrived relatively late to affiliate marketing and its allied fields and am bursting at the seems with ideas and inspiration. In learning the ins and outs as much as a can via blogs (specifically yours and shoe’s) I haven’t had the opportunity to hit a major event yet. This small, gracious, nudge from you would help me in numerous ways to climbing the mountain.

Thanks for taking the time to read my entry,

  9. Kieran says:

Basically the question is why WOULDN’T you want to go to this amazing event? I live in the NYC area and my event budget is all done for the year so I am dieing to go to the best affiliate show around.

John, I would love to win a Gold Pass and the chance to meet and network with you. I’m a big fan of John Chow and have followed your advice and growth over the last 2 years. I’m a novice affiliate marketer with some moderate success (with many failures). I have a lot more to learn and feel Affiliate Summit East will provide me with some useful information and the ability to network with people in the industry. Thank you for the chance.

I have followed you and Shoemoney and other big guys and have managed to earn profits using PPC and other tactics I’ve learned, but I want to become a master in the game!

  13. Too bad I won’t be in NY. The affiliate summit would have been great to learn something new and meet some people in person. Most of all I can’t pass up free food. 🙂

Good everybody, I hope John picks some people that really want to learn affiliate marketing.

    Hello John,

I believe that I should be awarded one of the gold passes to the Affiliate Summit because I will be launching an Internet Marketing membership course in late July and I am looking for some JV partners to help promote it. I also just started my product review blog and I am looking to review more up and coming Internet Marketing products. I have been looking forward to attended this Summit previously, but in the past I could not attend because of work. Winning a pass will definitely help me take my online business to the next level

  16. Jim says:

To be honest John, I would love to go to Affiliate Summit, missed out on the Vegas one, and when I finally gained enough money to go to my first convention, everything came crashing down and prevented me in going. Affiliate Marketing is one of the most interesting parts on internet marketing, and by going to this summit I am hoping that it will take me to a whole new level.

And on top of all that, the Dot Com Pho is something I would love to be a part of. I would probably never get myself up to Vancouver, and since you are coming to east coast I would love to join you and others and network great.

  19. Hey John,

This is a rather generous offer from you. Thanks.

I started making websites about 4 years ago as hobby. In January 2008, I established Timsar Solutions as the umbrella company for my websites and services.

In 2008 I started getting involved in affiliate marketing and dropshipping. My largest affiliate website is HookahLounge with $120,000 revenue and for which I’ve had to hire one part time employee. I also do a lot of work in PPC affiliate marketing and local affilaite marketing.

I have been waiting for a chance to attend one of the affiliate summits, learn all I can from you guys, and expand my network.

I do want to thank you for your blog. I’ve been reading all the posts for over a year now. I hope you consider my application and to see you at the summit.

I am a complete newcomer to the world of Affiliate marketing and coming from the UK these kind of events are very scarce so the opportunity does not often present itself. I think this is a fantastic opportunity to meet and network with seasoned Affiliate marketers and industry leaders and of course it would be a great boost to my business.

Hey John I’d love to enter but since I’m in Australia and I can’t justify the cost of the air fare I’ll have to pass up another great opportunity to get to another worthwhile conference.

Maybe you could use your influence and get something global happening.

  39. Why should I go? Well…
#1: I’m a failure at IM (relatively speaking)… and I need a kick up the ass. My success so far is $1.50 from Amazon Per Month in 2009! How’s that?

#2: I’m on a diet… a pizza diet. I think Tyler’s encouraging in that respect! Can I lose weight, go to NYC and eat lots of pizza at the same time?

#3: I’m wanting to meet the right folks in the industry, learn the inside info, and build some nice niche sites… I have a dozen already but none that really do anything much, except this one.

    So, that’s pretty much it.

First of all, thanks for the offer John!

Why should I win? Simple. I want to be the next John Chow! I’ve never been to any type of affiliate conference, but have been working hard to learn affiliate marketing and put into practice what I’ve been learning. An opportunity to go to Affiliate Summit would represent a pretty significant boost to my networking efforts as well as a huge amount of learning in a short period of time.

    Hey John,

I would love to get to the summit on a Gold Pass. I live in NY so attending would not be an issue.

Why should I win? Because it’s my first time, I’d be likely to soak in more information than anyone else. Network more than anyone else. And try my hardest to make usage for it.

    Not reason enough? 🙂

    Hope to see you soon,

  46. EJ says:

    Hi John,

I’m new to blogging / affiliate marketing and was inspired by your example to dive-in. I’m still putting the finishing touches on my site/blog (hope to have it done this weekend) and really excited to build a loyal following of readers.

I think I deserve a pass to the Summit because:

    – I’ve made a personal long-term commitment of time/energy to do whatever I can to learn blogging / affiliate marketing from credible sources; I believe the Summit experience would provide me an excellent first-experience and foundation to start with
-The discipline/tenacity that helped me endure the ups and downs of the trading/finance business (working in New York City) I hope will also help me be a successful blogger / affiliate marketer
    – My ideal goal is to be doing this full-time (or close to it) within two-years after officially going live with my blog/website. If successful, I’d be a great case-study for others to aspire to; at worst, I’m hoping my readers at the very least find my attempt incredibly amusing
    – My friends would describe me as an extrovert who is roguish in a good way; so basically, I’m fun to have around…say, for like a Dot Come Pho gathering in NYC? 🙂

I hope you consider me for a free pass.

Hi John, my brother is 18 and he doesn’t know what he wants to be when he grows up.

Two weeks ago, I introduced him to affiliate marketing and your blog. For two weeks, he’s been putting time and effort learning about the topic. Imagine my surprise the other day when I came home and saw him reading rather than playing Warcraft.

I think I’ve helped him find a topic that he’s interested in. So, I’m entering this contest for him and would give him the ticket and pay for all his traveling expenses if I win.

  48. Hey John!!

I was very excited when I saw the opportunity to win 1 of the 10 Gold Passes to The Affiliate Summit. I am a 23 year old recent college grad from El Paso, TX.

A good friend and I just launched an exclusive, social networking website, a couple months ago for the business fraternity I was involved in at my university. The purpose of the site is to help fraternity brothers when we travel around the country, by encouraging each other to host each other at their homes, meet for a meal or drink, or help with points of interest in the city they are traveling in.

So far we have received lots of great feedback and have had several new profiles created. Since we just launched the website, I have not worried about monetizing it at all, but have rather worked on the site because I enjoy it and want to give back to my fraternity. I know there are many opportunities and would love to pick up some tips from the pros at Summit.

Everything is lining up perfectly because I will be in Washington D.C. from August 12 – 16 to promote my website at a fraternity conference. It would be great if I win a free ticket to The Affiliate Summit since I can easily change my plane ticket to arrive in New York a few days earlier.

Thanks for giving these passes away and I look forward to meeting you and everyone at Market Leverage in New York if chosen.

As a Dutch affiliate, I’m only targeting non-English countries at the moment. It works out great, but I’ve chosen to start a new business in the English speaking market as well. The best kick-off for these projects is – obviously – networking, networking and… networking! So yes, I should *definitely* go to the Affiliate Summit!

However I live in the Netherlands (Europe), I’m going to Canada/US for the upcoming two months (love to travel while I’m working!) so the AF would fit in just perfect!

I am looking to bring a new project to ASE and searching for JV partners. I aim to merge social networking with rapid prototype development.

I am bringing to the table an action plan starting with engineering. I have over a decade of experience in product development from feasibility to product launch under statistical process control. I will be utilizing design skills to work up niche products to be contracted from international manufacturers.

I will be seeking to bring on board a JV partner(s) to develop and monitor social networking avenues to find customers with special needs that are able to be answered by low volume machining, 3-D printing, proto-molding, etc.

By finding JV partners, I will also be working to tap into the power of affiliates to promote products after initial development to open markets from the limited initial pool of a niche group.

With your assistance, I would love to become apart of ASE.

    Thank you for your consideration,

    John E.
