Missed last year in NYC and it’s been 16 years since I’ve been to Vegas. Would love to absorb as much as I can in every session I can make it too. Going live with an Affiliate Portal in a few weeks and also my first attempted at becoming in Advertiser, so getting a foot in the door here would make my chance of success that much better! Perhaps I can get a game of poker in with Shoe or yourself and really feel special ๐Ÿ˜‰

I’ve always wanted to attend Affiliate Summit and have never had the opportunity. I can promise you I would attend because I was already planning a trip to Vegas that same week for CES, but this conference would be much more beneficial to me as I need the education of affiliate marketing to grow my business. Thanks for the opportunity, John.

  8. Chasestasney says:

    Hey john,

My name is chase stasney and I am 19 years old. I have been in the internet marketing niche for 6 months now. When I first started out I had absolutely no idea what I was doing and invested my whole life savings. Now that I have a better idea of what I am doing my brother has joined me and we continue invest all our time and money into this business. There is no other option for us, this is what we want to do and we will stop at nothing to achieve it. We both know that in time we will accomplish our goal of earning a full time income online, eventually helping our family to do the same. Persistence is key in this business, its just a matter of sticking with it long enough until you learn the right information from the right people. The affiliate summit west would be HUGE as the information I will take from that would boost my business tremendously. The opportunity to attend this would really be a life changer, not only for me but everyone around me as one of my goals is to help as many people as possible to become successful. To do that I first need to be successful. Anyways john that is my story and I hope to be meeting you this coming january at the affiliate summit west 2012.

    Best,

    Chase S.

  9. SocialInsider says:

I deserve a VIP pass because I love making money online, my girlfriend is a 10, I am a pro blackjack player on the side, have access to tickets from Playboy Mansion to Super Bowl and party is my middle name. Let’s not pass up this opportunity….

  10. ColeStasney says:

    Hey John,

My name is Cole Stasney. I am 24 and just recently finished 7 years in the US army. Last year I served my final combat tour in Afghanistan and was wounded by an IED strike. Since being out, I have struggled with a number of things ranging from the brain injury I suffered to trying to figure out what to do with my life.

I am not going to write out a million reasons why I want or deserve a pass. There is really just one main reason. That reason is that I have now found my calling working with my brother Chase Stasney as an affiliate marketer. Chase introduced me to this business and I know that this is both of our paths. We are both relatively new to this, but have learned a lot already.

If I get this pass, I would be eternally greatfull for being granted the opportunity to gain a whole new set of knowledge about this business so that I can advance my self personally and professionally, live out my goals and simply take care of my family.

Thanks for the opportunity John. It is an awesome one.

    Best,

    Cole Stasney

I NEED my ASW hit man, please give me some of that pure dope. If I don’t get the conferences, networking, schmoozing with the bad ass super affiliates I’m going to cry in the corner and get the not making enough money shakes! Seriously though, this would be an amazing opportunity that I would take full advantage of to take it to the next level!

  14. HerbertFaria says:

Hello John, you must give me the free pass cause I bet no one else will take good use of it as I will. I simply love internet marketing and will give my best to enjoy every minute while in this conference. Also, by studying and reading your blog I was able to increase my online revenue month after month, and this week I will launch my first training course in my niche, I would like to thank you for that. You are may preferred internet marketing mentor, and I will love to meet you in LV. See you there, the pass is already mine, isn’t it ?

  15. will22 says:

My reason is simple. I’ve never been to one, i want to meet like-minded people and learn something that i don’t know yet.

  16. menshealth99 says:

Hi John, I have been blogging and doing Affiliate Marketing full time for a little over a year now. I just made my first $500 commission check and am getting nearly 10K hits a month to my site, so I am serious about getting to $10k a month in commission. I live in Los Angeles and would love to go to Affiliate Summit West to meet other like-minded people, and meet Super Affiliates like you and Ros Gardner and learn how to take my blog and business to the next level and start making serious money.

    Thanks,

    Ken Weiss

  17. Mitch_SCP says:

I need to go to an Affiliate Summit and no better time than the present. I started blogging 3 1/2 years ago by typing into Google “How do I start a blog?” and then a $10 investment. These days I have over 600,000 monthly visitors, 10,000,000 monthly pageviews but I have networked with the mainstream blogging community and I have never been too successful with affiliate programs though I have monetized my site other ways.

I have surely put in the time and work and I am getting the results but I need a small push to really discover how affiliate marketing can work for me both as an affiliate and launching my own affiliate program. Getting a free pass would more than make me feel obligated to go.

    Make it Happen.

    Mitch

    1. Mitch_SCP says:

      meant to say “never networked”

  18. RykerRome says:

I have been in affiliate marketing for 2 years and have not made over a $100 yet! I am clearly doing things wrong. I need to be around successful people to learn hands on. It is painful to get ridiculed by your family for taking a different path. I am a extremely hard worker and have a strong desire to win at this!

  19. financellent says:

I’ve been working on me SEO skills and have several solid blogs set up and getting traffic. Now I just need to learn from and network with some successful affiliates to better monitize my sites.

I’m a faithful reader and I have a 22 month old daughter so savings the $500+ on the entry fee would be much appreciated.

I also live in Los Angeles so actually getting there isn’t a problem.

I hope you I can win one of your passes.

    Thanks,

    Ashley

  20. MrJpeg says:

I will surely learn so much and enjoy every minute of it.

    John,

I need to go to Affiliate Summit West 2012. I’ve been in affiliate marketing only since the beginning of 2011.

If you give me the chance to attend the 2012 Summit, I will wear a T-shirt with ” I’m John Chow’s affiliate bitch!” for the whole time we’re there…

    thanks John!

  25. iamdpegg says:

    Hey John

David here from List25. I recently started my new blog and I’m trying to learn how to monetize it.

I attended Blog World Expo and it was a great experience to learn from all the experts in terms of how to promote your content.

I have some good content on the site now but I need to learn how to monetize it and I think Affiliate Summit would be a perfect opportunity to learn from the industry leaders. I already have enough points to get a free flight to Vegas and all I need is a ticket so if you could help me out with that I would be set!

I really look forward to finding out how I can take my blog to the next level and also get a chance to hang out with you in Vegas!

    David Pegg

  26. DinoVedo says:

I should win because my blog is better then yours ๐Ÿ˜‰

  27. davidhenzel says:

I have to win so I can hang out with you and beat you on the basketball court :p

  28. Hotdogman says:

I had a great time at Affiliate Summit last year and I want to do it again! I learned so much at last year’s Summit and had a great time at all the parties. The connections I made and things I learned helped me double my online income in 2011.

Also, I ended up getting national media attention from a stunt I pulled to publicize my blog, http://www.hotdogstories.com, which rocketed it from a PR 0 to a PR 4!

Last year, my wife bought me the plane tickets and hotel for a Christmas present. She said she’d do it again, but only if I won another pass! So I really need the pass to get to Vegas, or else domestic relations could get a tad strained.

I think this year, I would be more of an “expert” on some topics than last year and would have a lot to give to some of the “noobs.”

Please consider me for a ticket, I will blog about the experience incessantly and share the fruits of my good fortune.

Thanks again, John, for all your help and advice over the years.

    -Rob Merlino aka “The Hotdogman”

  29. donbluebird says:

I never have been to the Summit before. Heard about it for YEARS but was never in the position to see this be of benefit. Now that I am Director of Online Media Relations who RUNS an affiliate program, this will be of great benefit to know exactly what affiliates are looking for, and how I can make not only myself more successful, but the affiliate successful in their online marketing efforts!

Thanks for the offer to win @John Chow I’d love to go so I can meet partners press the flesh so to speak. Its really difficult to figure out how I can best help my users via e-mail to the partners. Face to face is the best way to do this and Affiliate Summit will provide this.

Good luck to everyone who’s entered.

  32. BeginCollege says:

Why I should be awarded a Gold Pass:

    3) I’m looking to make make the transition from part time internet marketer to full-time. In order to do that, I will need to network, meet people, and create relationships that will help send me to the next level of thinking, innovating, and creating.

    2) A few years back, you sent me a JC.com pen and business card that I still have. I use it as motivation when I stumble along the way.

    1) I wrote an article highlighting you on a major news publication some months back ( I can link it to you to refresh your memory ๐Ÿ™‚ ). I’m a featured author for the examiner and have combined my professional talents with my IM knowledge to help get into this industry…now I need to put myself out there and meet people, I think ASW is the means to do this.

    Thanks for the consideration!

  33. RossCarrel says:

    Ross Wins…

Executive Summary:#1: Vegas – I haven’t been in too long and I’m suffering serious withdrawal. That’s reason enough…but it’s superficial so I’ll go on.

#2. I’ve been behind the scenes, building websites, helping launches, marketing, doing seo, and all things web for over 10 years. I live, love, and breathe this stuff…but I’ve never been to this event (hint hint)

#3. After all those years I’m finally at the forefront with my own high ranking blog helping people, and transitioning into full time writer, and digital publisher. I can actually send traffic and convert sales as an affiliate and this event is a huge opportunity to make new connections and grow.In other words, I’ll actually use this for the benefit of mankind.

Shall I continue… or have you now decided I’m going? Two more…

#4. I’m articulate, witty, and charming. As your preferred guest, you can be assured of no awkward moments at the event or VIP party. I know you know what I’m sayin…just sayin.

#5. I’ve thoughtfully arranged an elegant and readable executive summary for my favorite blogging executive.

Hope you enjoyed, my entry…and good luck to all.

    Sincerely,

    Ross

    Hey John,

Here’s the reasons why I’m grateful for the pass:

~ Because of what I learned from my first ASW last year, what I overlooked the first time around and what I need to do different this time.

~ I paid to attend last year and didn’t attend every session that I could have taken advantage of while I was there. DUH! This year, definitely going to attend every session possible!

~ One mistake I made last year, was not setting up scheduled meetings BEFORE the event with possible JV partners. This year, I’m on it!

~ Since attending last year’s ASW, I know what to expect this year and how to better navigate the event.

~ It’s close to the one-year anniversary of my going full time with Internet Marketing and consulting!

This will be a good place and time to celebrate!

    Thanks John!

Thanks to you and winning that pass- I wrapped up my summer with a great vacation and a great learning experience at Summit East. I met Marc Ostrofsky, read his book, and learned even more. Even got a new client from the event. I am passing the link to others!

    THANK YOU,

    Andrea

    1. John Chow says:

@AndreaH Good to hear that winning the pass helped out in your business.

It’s a great business concept idea to give free passes for a big event and then get back an excellent feedback for your blog.

If you would have to get a nickname just type John Fox instead of John Chow.

However, Good Luck to the winners.

  39. MT Smith says:

  42. John Q Shearer says:

Dear John Chow, I missed the free pass give away…I don’t mind paying my way. I am hoping this comment might get me invited to one of the parties while I am in LV.

I own a (non internet) business in Seattle with over 1 million in sales per year. Because I could not find a suitable SEO, I did my own. I started in May 2010 and by Feb 2011 I owned the 2 important key words for my market: seattle painting and house painting. I am no pro but i learned html and video production on my own….all this just for my business.

But tonight I put up my first adsense campaign here http://www.shearerpainting.com/sherwinwilliamscolors.php

I intend to blog about seo
