Win A Networking Plus Pass To Affiliate Summit East 2013

The Affiliate Summit East (ASE) happens August 18-20, 2013 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, PA., and I got $5,490 worth of Networking Plus Passes to give away! That sounds like a lot of passes, but it works out to only ten (ASE is not a cheap show). Winning a pass means you save yourself $549!

The Networking Plus Pass gives you admission to Affiliate Meet Market, Exhibit Hall, Keynotes, Sunday educational sessions; access to all recorded session videos; and PowerPoint presentations. The pass also gets you into my session: Creating Authority Blogs and Passive Monthly Income.

How To Enter To Win An ASE Networking Plus Pass

Affiliate Summit EastTo enter, all you have to do is explain in the comments why you should be awarded a Networking Plus Pass to the Affiliate Summit East. The better your comment, the higher your chances of winning.

Please only enter if you actually plan on going. If you are selected, you must attend. The pass is not transferable and cannot be resold because it will have your name on it. I am only giving away the passes. I am not paying for your travel or hotel. However, the winners will get a T-shirt that says, “I’m with John Chow, Bitch!” It’s guarantee to get you into all the parties. 😛

IMPORTANT – please note the following:
You must notify the recipients that they cannot be transferred, and the pass codes become invalid in the event the conference sells out.
Also, anybody registering for a complimentary pass who neither checks in at the conference or cancels will be ineligible for future complimentary passes.

If you are new to Internet marketing, attending the Affiliate Summit can be a life-changing event. Many of the biggest names in the industry got their start at this show. If you’re serious about making money online, you can not afford to miss this show. Watch the video below to see the impact the Affiliate Summit has made on past attendees.

The winners of the passes will be announced this Saturday, June 15 during Dot Com Pho OC. This should give you enough time to book your air and hotel if you need it. Good luck and enter now!

  1. generous as ever, thanks John

  2. John says:

    John –

First of all we have the same first name – which I think should be a big factor in giving me tickets. Secondly I am from NY so getting to the event in PA is nothing more than a short drive. Thirdly I have been blogging since 2006, my wife started her site four years ago, and I am now looking to improve my affiliate marketing skills. The ASE is a great place to network with like minded individuals that will help me take my business to the next level. I have a 3 year old and new born at home and would love to learn enough to have the financial and job freedom to be around more then I am now.

On top of all that I would rock the hell out of that free t-shirt!

    John (see same name!)

  3. rika says:

I love your site and always want to meet you in person! I always want to go to Affilate Summit too! Hope I win! Thank you so much

  4. Shannon Bryan says:

Well what can I say John, I’m on the bus on my way home after coming back from hospital, my son strained his knee, nothing too serious (thank god). On the bus as mentioned my phone rings, it’s work informing me the bank wishes to speak with me. (What an embarrassment). Life a has got to be better than this! Been trying for years to build a successful online business, not much luck there. I would love to come out to the summit and network with real people and listen to their stories. Near home now, going to give my son some TLC 🙂

  5. Amanda says:

I’d like to attend Affiliate Summit for the first time to learn from the pros. I have attended various meetups and have been doing things by myself. Now I need pointers to take my skills to next level.

A ticket to ASE would be a whole lot of help.

    Thanks John.

  6. faisal says:

How do you manage to get so many passes?

    1. John Chow says:

      I’m John Chow, bitch! 😀

  7. Well, let’s see. I flew all the way from Boston, MA to Long Beach, CA this weekend to attend the Home Business Summit. Problem is, I only had enough money to buy a one-way plane ticket to Long Beach.

I couldn’t even afford to buy the ticket for the Summit. But I flew out here anyway, with hope of learning the money making strategies and tactics of the pros. Long story short, I made it to Long Beach but couldn’t attend the Summit.

Now I’m assed out in Long Beach with no money, no return plane ticket, and have no more money making wisdom than I had when I left Boston. John, I don’t just WANT the Networking Plus Pass, I NEED it desperately!

  8. Mark says:

Hey John Chow. Thank you for this opportunity to win a ticket to ASE! I’m brand new to internet marketing and affiliate marketing and am really enjoying the Blogging with John Chow course. Here is why I would like a ticket.

Three simple reasons you should grant me entrance to Affiliate Summit East.
    1. I’m dedicated to radically improving lives through health and fitness.
    2. My dedication comes from personal application
    3. It takes money – as you know.

Maybe it’s a good idea to go a little deeper…

    1. I’m dedicated to radically improving lives.

My blog is a fitness blog for the overwhelmed and under-motivated. It’s brand new. It launched last night and, as of right now, has no content. But it will. My blog focus is workouts, dietary choices, and mental outlook. These three things work together, or against each other, to determine a person’s health. It is about results – mine and my followers. My goal is to impact the lives of 100 obese and overwhelmed people, showing that they can radically improve their lives through simple daily choices. The blog will grow to be a tool empowering nearly anyone in making lifestyle choices congruent with good health and quality of life.

    2. My dedication comes from personal application.

I currently weigh 250lbs – 75lbs overweight. I’m obese. I’m also a full-time dad and my kids stay with me rather than day care. My schedule is crazy. My stress-level is through the roof. Yet when I do get a workout in, go for a walk, or ride my bike, everything seems easier. My kids are happier. My wife is happier. Yet the motivation to exercise is non-existent when all I want to do is rest. It’s a mind game. More than anything else. And I’ve found ways to beat it that I am sharing with the world.

    3. It takes money. ASE will put monetization on STEROIDS!

This was originally about why someone should immediately start following me on twitter @markvejnar and check out all my initial launch stuff. But that’s not what this post is about. Blogging takes MONEY. Hosting, letters, resources to give away – all these things have a price. I’m a subscriber to Blogging with John Chow and I’ve read the chapter about all the expenses so I know it’s coming. ASE will show me ways to monetize which will allow me to focus on providing great content for my readers.

If you will give me one of your passes, you will have contributed to radically improving the health of countless people around the world.

My wife works at a local hospital in South Carolina. Everyday she is surrounded with morbidly obese patients suffering from a laundry list of problems. Some days she feels like a ballerina prancing through a baseball field covered in dog shit. Every once in a while she deals with a simple health issue, but most of it is severe, dirty, stinky, and comes from poor habits and decisions. Most of the patients feel they have no options. They don’t know what to eat, how to exercise (or even if they should), and fit and healthy people are an oddity to be feared.

Most people know, on some level, that all outcomes are based on previously-made choices; however, most of these people don’t know how to make GOOD choices.

    We want to change that.

Please help us by giving us a ticket.

  9. Mark says:

Also, My brother said he got to meet you at the WFHS. He said you were way more awesome in real life. He told me you thought someone being terrified by riding on the hood of your car was funny.

  10. John,

A big fan here from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and have been following your awesome meteoric rise among Internet Marketers for a couple of years now. I am on the path myself to make a living blogging and managing affiliate programs. I have gone on to launch the affiliate program for a wealth creation platform called Wealth Revolution Group and Affiliate Summit East would be a great event for me to network, gain insights and rub shoulders with affiliate networks that would be priceless.

It will also be my visit to Philadelphia and my 1st Affiliate Summit event, given a chance.

  11. Orlando Pena says:

I am pretty new to Affiliate Marketing, I love to attend the Affiliate Summit to learn more, and be able to meet other individuals that are successful and can help me on my path. With this knowledge, I will be better educated on how to do things the proper way. I would also like to teach others what I have gained, I strongly believe that the great secret of life is to help each other.

  12. Paul Salo says:

I’ve been through the school of hard knocks here in China and Japan since 1989. So much knowledge and life skills with the regular people here but very little knowledge of how to monetize those skills. I want to help entrepreneurs in Asia leverage their knowledge using affiliate marketing

  13. Amir says:

John, I am excited and determined to win that free ticket. I WANT to go to Affiliate East Zone 2013! Make me that person who does! I’m your man!

I have been blown away by your website and ideas, and value you provide your readers. I was directed to your site from a simple search on youtube for “internet marketing.”

I have the hard part down of having a killer idea and sincere passion for what I want to do. The part I need work on is the knowledge and the steps of how to properly channel my ideas and passions on the internet, and monetize effectively.

That’s where you come in. From following your blog, and going through your blogging with John Chow, it almost seems as if I personally know you. You have done a great job in creating this personal rapport with your viewers. I want to know more 🙂 It is clear from your writings and videos that you really have this blogging stuff down pat.

When I saw the video on this post, I checked the website for the dates. I was really excited because it happened to fall during the time I will be in the U.S. in the summer. I am living in Saudi Arabia right now, and I only come in summers back to visit family. So perfect window of opportunity to learn from the experts! I’m so ready to hit up the conference, pen and pad in hand, to network with and write down all the juicy knowledge and tips straight from the pros!

I was exposed to this whole .com blogging world just a couple months ago, and I am determined, and I have certainty that I will be able to live my passion by blogging on the internet. I feel it was what I was meant to do with my life. And I sincerely believe that you are enabling me to reach my dreams and visions.

I am the type of person that puts into practice what they learn, and I try to make that a habit. When I believe in something, I give it my all and put my heart into it. I have been putting everything you mentioned on your blogging program into practice, and I really understand your techniques and wisdoms, and truly appreciate the value you are providing me personally.

My blog is coming up very nicely, courtesy of Blogging with John Chow 🙂 It’s definitely requires a lot of work, but the work and patience will all be worth it God Willingly.

So John, come on! Don’t deprive me of the opportunity to meet you in person and thank you for the help you have provided me in getting my dream and passion up and running. All thanks goes to God, but credit has to be given to who deserve it.

    Two requests:
    1. For my T-Shirt you give me, please take out the curse word, “bitc*” and maybe just write down: “” I have a thing against swear words, and I would never wear a T-shirt with one on it.
    2. And another one: Could you upgrade me to the VIP or All Access ticket? I want to see all the sessions and learn as much as possible, not just one session a day? 😉 If it’s not too much to ask ;D

  14. 4 Reasons why I should roll with John Chow

    – I’ll yell John Chow Makes $ a 100x on the conference floor
    – I won’t take the t-shirt off for all 3 days
    – I’ll spread any rumor you request
    – I’ll distract any targets that you want to hit with free swag

  15. Albert says:

My father thinks I’m a loser

College was not for me and working a job was not for me. I felt like I couldn’t be creative in school and I hated working for a cruel, unappreciative boss. So I quit school and my job to pursue an affiliate marketing business.

My dad wasn’t happy at all. He has called me a loser and says I’m stupid and that I’m making a big mistake. It hurts to hear him say that. But I did it because it was in my heart and my heart was telling me to be my own boss and self-educate myself rather than let school educate me.

I’m still new to affiliate marketing and I want to learn from the right people with the right information and you are one of them. But this summit looks like it can really help me.

The truth is I don’t have a lot of money and even if you select me, I don’t know how I can afford a round trip flight and hotel and other expenses.

So even if you don’t pick me, I just wanna say thank you for all the help you’ve provided to me and so many others. You are a great inspiration.

  16. Joe Science says:

It was great to meet you in Long Beach this weekend. Glad we got to do the sushi thing last night.

You should send me a ticket because I’ll let some other cool winners crash at my place that’s just outside Philly in the ‘burbs. That and because we didn’t get to hang out much at the event this weekend.

Plus, I would look damn fine in one of your shirts! 🙂

Hope to see you in Philly!

  17. Junjun Li says:

Woo, because ” I am with John Chow and sharing Sexy girl haha”
that was really good sushi.. :p

  18. Sunday says:

A nice offer but unfortunately I will not be attending. The reason? I am outside of the US and I am not really that bouyant to pay for the hotel and transport fee.

I am not discouraged though because I believe I will participate in this program one day.
Wishing participants the best of luck in this life changing summit!

  19. John says:

I believe I should be awarded a Networking Plus Pass to Affiliate Summit East because I will provide just as much if not more value back to the summit. The way I will provide that value is by being a high value potential client / business partner for the summit’s many sponsors and exhibitors.

From one point of view I am already VERY successful online. Just not financially. My websites pull in around 5 million unique visitors per year. By most standards I should probably already be raking in the dough… but I’m apparently missing some magic ingredient which I hope to find at Affiliate Summit… all it would take is that one right opportunity to change everything.

My start in online business was very early on. Started my first commercial website when I was in college in the mid 90s with a college directory, back when directories were needed to find college websites. I did this shortly after reading a magazine article about what David Filo & Jerry Yang were doing with Yahoo (my site was a Yahoo featured site back when they did such things). I remember my college professors asking where I was learning so much about the net… my answer was always that the Internet is the future and, well, “I LOVE THIS STUFF!” Some of you might even know me already as I’ve been going by the username “john2k” on various webmaster forums for years.

I remember getting my first site to 100k views per month to meet DoubleClick’s minimum. That was, unfortunately, just after DoubleClick started requiring 1 million views. Just before I hit 1 million views DC started requiring even more exclusivity. Anyone else who remembers when DoubleClick was THE network to be a member of has also been in this business a long time. Just the same, most who’ve been doing this for a while would remember digitalNATION as well, the company that basically spearheaded the dedicated server rental business. Flycast was going good for a few years, never “great,” until their business faltered. And AllAdvantage… that’s how I first stumbled into John Chow online. That was all back in the early days… back when Mark Welch’s site was really the best place to learn any truly meaningful information about all things related to ad networks & affiliate programs.

I’ve worked my online business for years… did ok for two years and other than that I’ve struggled always with the focus on some day it all paying off. Well, maybe this day, the 3 days in August, will be that “some day” for me. I can’t really put my finger exactly on the reason why things have not gone better for me. What it probably comes down to is simply that I spend too much time on the development/promotional side and not enough time on the monetization side.

When I first learned that Affiliate Summit was going to be in Philadelphia I immediately thought that I hope I can get the money together to buy a ticket (without sacrificing too much to do so) by the time August comes. This is perfect for me. I already planned to attend, if I can afford it by then and there are really no other costs for me as I live just across the bridge in southern NJ.

John, if you, or Affiliate Summit, choose me for one of your free tickets, I can assure you of one thing: this ticket will absolutely not go to waste. It will be my first time at Affiliate Summit. I already have the sites and the traffic. All it will take is finding that one single perfect opportunity at Affiliate Summit and maybe I can finally turn what I have built over the years into a success.

    Hi John,

I want to go to AES to meet new friends in the world of affiliate marketing. I am able to pay for the flight and the hotel.

Also, I have finished reading the first chapter of Blogging Secrets: An Uncommon Guide to Generating Six Figures On the Internet, Escaping The 9-5 And Living The Dot Com Lifesteal by John Chow and Peng Joon. It was great. I learned a lot about the Blogging Secrets’ purpose, can’t wait to read more.

    Thanks for lunch,

  21. Hey JC!

The convention looks really cool. I wont be able to go because I’ll be at another event in Ohio but I would like to know how I can get my hands on one of those t-shirts.

    I’ll wear it proudly!

  22. I. C. Daniel says:

I want that T-Shirt very bad.

I can’t be at the Affiliate Summit East because I’m to damn far.

John can you send me a T-Shirt to my country Romania :D?

I wonder how much cost. Is not heavy so it should be cheap.

Best regards from I. C. Daniel

  23. John, I’ve been following you ever since I read an item about you in Entrepreneur magazine a few years back. I am a 57 year old retired veteran of the United States Navy Submarine Service with a wife and 10 year old son. Ten years ago I gave up my dream of living in Mystic Connecticut, the area I always wanted to live, where I used to ride mountain and road bicycles and raced as crew on sailboats for seven years. I gave it up to come back to Pennsylvania to look after my mother in law. Her husband had died 4 years previously and though she still gets around pretty well she has no other family here in the states other than my wife.

My mother in law grew up in WW II Germany. Her husband had been taken from the Ukraine as a 14 year old boy and sent to Germany to work on a farm. He never saw his family again. By chance of fate and thanks to his ability to speak 7 languages he wound up with the U.S Army during the war where he met his wife. They married and emigrated to the states in the 1950’s. After living in Philadelphia initially they built the house where my mother in law currently resides. All the relatives that she used to keep in touch with have passed away. Her home is all she has left. So I gave up my dream so that my wife and son could spend whatever years “Mom” has left.

It’s been a struggle ever since. In 2011 I was laid off from the Department of the Navy after they closed the local naval air station. At that time I went to work with my father to try and turn his hobby of repairing and restoring classic British, European and Japanese motorcycles into a viable business. However the nature of the business is such that we can’t turn the bikes around fast enough and we suffer a cash flow problem. Mt father is getting older and his health is deteriorating but he loves what he does and it’s pretty much the only thing he has left to keep him busy. If I leave he’ll have to give up the shop.

It was my hope to get an Affiliate Marketing business going to provide me with the income to support my family, to ensure my mother in law is able to live out her days in her home in comfort, without worry or stress and to provide me with the time to be able to work with my father and build his business but I have no idea how or where to start. It is my hope to be able to attend this event to possibly kick start my efforts to a successful business to help me achieve the above.

    Thank you for your consideration.

    Joseph B. Collins

Its a great thing that free passes are given here to the readers of your blog..nice John.. but I dont want to have pass this time as I would not be able to make to go and so, dont want to spoil someone else’s luck.

Good luck to all who are participating and congrats to those who all get the free passes by John Chow.

  25. Because I’m John Chow, bitch!

  26. Honest Scott says:

    Hi John,

I have never been to an event before, although I would like to go, but I don’t have a story of hardship to tell you.

I am just like everyone else I imagine, just trying to find my little corner of this industry, and run with it.

I was on my way up when Google spanked me pretty good with Panda and Penguin, and that left me a little “gun-shy” (or should I say Google-shy), but I am working my way back up, and will be able to pay my own way once I do – in the meanwhile I vote for one of the people who has had it worse than I have.

    Take Care,

  27. Julio Santos says:

    Hello John,

I’ve always been a firm believer of multiple streams of income. I worked as a Master Chemist, Real Estate Broker and presently working for a major airline.

I was looking to start a real estate website in 2007, then the real estate bubble burst in 2008. I waited a couple of years to see if the real estate industry would turn around. It didn’t.

So in 2011 I decided to become an Internet Marketer and started to do a hardcore research into this industry. I’ve followed the top bloggers in this industry, (you Mr. Chow are one of them).

And I decided that this year 2013 is when I will start. I believe in delayed gratification. I will have two websites, One for health and one for wealth. They are both interrelated because to enjoy your wealth you need to be healthy.

I missed the Home Summit because I had already planned to be with my mom in Puerto Rico during that week. So my opportunity has arrived when you talked about the Affiliate Summit East in Pennsylvania. This will be my launch pad to my new career.

Please send me my free ticket. I will be there. I’ll be looking forward to meeting you.

    Julio Santos

  28. Kristen says:

Pick me! Work From No Home was my first exposure to affiliate marketing, and Blogging With John Chow was the next. When I started my first real blog, your banner for Blogging With John Chow was my first affiliate link.

My first post was the other day about Peng Joon, and I was going to review Blogging With John Chow next. I just got approved to promote the Affiliate Summit yesterday, too, and now I see your offer in my email.

Coincidence? I think not!! Plus, I would look great in that t-shirt! It would also be a great part of the story I’ll be sharing about how I created my empire.

    Feeling Lucky,

  29. John says:

    Hi John!,

No Story of Hardship here either. I’m a complete novice who has lots of passion for affiliate marketing and am truly inspired by what you have created. The problem is, i feel i need to be hand held through the experience. I just can’t seem to get take the plunge.

Hopefully meeting you in person will give me the kick i need.

  30. Sharon says:

When you don’t succeed, try and try again. Didn’t make the cut in past years, so I’ll try again. You never know!! I’ve been involved with the virtual world since the WWW became a reality. I’ve helped others make big money by writing blogs and articles for them, but never made the big money myself. Is that fair? I am in Connecticut, close enough to get to Philadelphia, but too money short to pay for the event itself. I don’t do well learning by book or listening to a CD. I need to be in the same room and see, hear and experience the person first hand. Something to do with my senior age, I guess. I’d really appreciate the ticket to see you and learn everything for myself.

  31. I won this ticket for Las Vegas this past year and had to give it back because my elderly mother injured herself. I was going to try again for Philly and guess what? My 91 year old mother fractured her face so I was in the hospital with her and missed all the deadlines to win. If you can find a pass anywhere and feel like passing one on to me I would be the most appreciative affiliate marketer. Thanks and I hope to see you in Philly.

  32. This would be my first time attending Affiliate Summit East. I’ve been working on my affiliate business Sophisticated Curves for almost a year now. I’d like the opportunity to learn new marketing strategies from the pros and do some networking as well. I was also notified that some of companies i promote will have representatives at the summit. This would be a great learning experience. Thank you for your time.
