Wynn Las Vegas

While in Las Vegas for the Blog World Expo, I’ll be staying at the Wynn Hotel and Casino. This is first time at the Wynn and I must say, they’ve exceeded my expectation. The Wynn is the first hotel I’ve been in that put my name on the room key and telephone. I thought that was a really cool touch.
Las Vegas has to be the only major city in the US that doesn’t charge for parking at their hotels. Parking at the hotel in Orlando cost $30 per day. While parking is free, the Internet is not. The Wynn charges $14 per day for high speed access. However, they don’t try to block out wireless routers so I was able to use my Asus WL-530g to set up a wireless hot spot.
Tyler Cruz is staying over at the Monte Carlo and said it sucks. He asked me to make a video of my room and post it. He said he will post a video of his room to show how bad it is. The only thing I have to say is, you get what you pay for.

Looks very nice (especially the flat screen), we were at the Bellagio last time but the wife wants to stay at the Wynn next time we go. By the way your link to Tyler has a typo.
Reply to this commentThe Wynn is nice, but I couldn’t justify spending that much on a hotel room, where I’ll spend most of my time outside of it anyway.
T.I. across the street is $180! w00t! lol
Reply to this commentYou spelled tylercruz as tylercurz in the hyperlink… I wonder how long it takes for someone to go reg it and park it :).
John
Reply to this commentNot very long it seems. It’s been regged, redirected, and fixed already.
Reply to this commentLooks like a nice hotel. And the party begins!
Reply to this commentHey Bryn!
I saw your review on TheNetFool.COM.
Great to meet you in person (I mean online!)
Reply to this commentCompared to my usual “Ramada”, you’re looking quite pampered there, John!
Reply to this commentJohn,
Your part time blogging gig has really become a full time blogging career, I would say you are traveling more than most top notch salespeople. I hope you enjoy the expo and your stay, it looks like a nice place.

Reply to this commentNice room!
Reply to this commentJohn the link to Tyler doesn’t work. FYI Nice shot of the Wynn.
Reply to this commentLooks like an awesome room. I am super stoked for you. You should really watch your spam comments a few are getting through.
Reply to this commentLooking forward to hearing more about the expo over the next couple of days
Nice room. Not the nicest I’ve stayed in… but nice anyways
Looks like Bryn has already registered the domain tylercurz.com and pointed it to his blog. Smart man. I would have, but he got to it first.
Reply to this commentHaha it didn’t last for long though.
Reply to this commentEnjoy the conference and your stay at the beautiful Wynn Las Vegas. Keep us posted and if anyone is looking for last minute deals to Las Vegas vist

The Wynn is my favourite hotel in Vegas too, very lush. Try the strawberry daquairis in the main bar too - gorgeous!
Reply to this commentLooks like a pretty sweet room. You are right, you do get what you paid for. Just make sure not to use all of your money gambling. That is one reason that I do not go to a place like Las Vegas. I might have a lot of cash now but I could easily lose $1 million in a couple of days like Charles Barkley. Even though Charles Barkley is the man he lost a lot of money really quick so be careful John.
Reply to this commentThe Palazzo will put your name in the phone system, too! I stayed there the last time I was in Vegas, the rooms were amazing!
Reply to this commentHi John,
I’ve never been to Las Vegas so I’ll have to live vicariously through you. While the room is very appealing, I’m just not certain how much time you can spend in it as the Blog World Expo takes place.
I’m looking forward to your sharing the information that you acquire at the expo in the near future.
Have a great time!
Reply to this commentThey put names on phones and keys at the Loews hotels in Orlando too. The service though… needs to be worked on.
I’ve always wanted to stay at the Wynn!
Reply to this commentHi John, Will we be seeing you in the “cashinator”? I’m sure you’ll be showing us one The Wynns’ great culinary delights that you’ll partake in. But for sure show us how you make out in the “cashinator”. Have fun!!
Reply to this commentI need to set up a time with Shoe to go into the Cashinator. I think we’ll be doing it after our Super Panel.
Reply to this commentWow, that’s awesome to hear.
That’s going to be a good read/watch for sure
Reply to this commentYour room looks great, I am heading to tyler to check his room….
Reply to this commentUploading my videos now - the post should be up within 45-minutes.
Yeah, the Monte Carlo sucks - don’t stay here. Your Wynn hotel looks nice John, but it’s about the same as River Rock in Richmond. It’s definitely better than the Monte Carlo though.
I can’t believe we have to pay for Internet usage… and the gym isn’t free either!
Reply to this commentSo are you having a party tonight? HA!
Reply to this commentcheck out the golf range too. apparently you can’t go in there unless ur staying there
Reply to this commenthey John,

Hope to run into you at bwe08!

Reply to this commentI got married at the Wynn this past February, and it is the most beautiful Hotel Casino in Vegas, and that bed is like going to sleep in the clouds.
Reply to this commentThis summer I was in Las Vegas for CTIA conference and had the opportunity to stay at both the Wynn and new Palazzo. I have to say that the Wynn was an awesome hotel and if you get a room which faces the golf course, spetacular!
Reply to this commentSweet looking place.
