This is a little update on the Laptop Gamers case study. Google just finished their Page Rank (PR) updated. Laptop Gamers went from PR0 to PR5! Not bad for a site that’s been up a little over a month. How did I pull this off? By using the techniques I’ve been blogging about – create unique contents and get links and news coverage for other sites in your field. All of the sites that post Laptop Gamers’ news have high Page Ranks (PR 5 to PR8). Being linked by these PR sites will make you leap a few PR number as you go up the Page Rank ladder. In the case of Laptop Gamer, it went from 0 to 5. The next update should see the site at PR6, which will give it the same Page Rank as The TechZone.
