Citroën Ami Coming To The US As Part of New EV Subscription Service

Citroën is bringing the teeny-weeny tall and skinny Ami to America as part of new electric car subscription service.

For a monthly fee, you can have access to a car that’ll probably get run over by big SUVs because they can’t see you.

The Ami is so small, it fits into the quadricycle category in France. That means it can be driven by 14-year-olds.

Citroën says that Ami is equipped with a 5.5 kWh battery pack and a 6 kW motor enabling about 44 miles of range and a top speed of 28 mph, which means you better get use to other drivers honking at you and maybe some road rage as well.

The Ami costs the equivalent of about $6,000 in Europe so the subscription service should be a pretty low monthly fee. Would you use it?
