Dot Com Lunch – $30,000 Millionaires Edition

In my video blog post, the best financial advice I ever got, I talked about the $30,000 millionaire. This is the term given to people who don’t make a lot of money ($30K a year) but try to live like they make a million. Well, it’s turns out there’s going to be a reality show on that!

$30,000 Millionaires is a show about four guys (late-20s to late-30s) who fake being rich, all for the sake of pretentious image. It’s The Hangover meets Wedding Crashers meets Knocked Up, but in this case, these guys are not as cool as they think they are. They live like rock stars on shoestring incomes. They survive on maxed-out credit cards and drive leased beamers. Their never-ending “quest to impress” often leads to embarrassing predicaments. Remember, “It’s not what you make, it’s what you fake!”

In addition to the $30,000 millionaires, this episode of the Dot Com Lunch featured our first ever look at a plant-based Pho. It sure is strange looking! We also welcome two visitors from San Diego. Anyone is welcome to join us for the Dot Com Lunch. Join us at our Dot Com Lifestyle meetup group to find the time and location of the next one.

Enjoy this episode, and please don’t be a $30,000 millionaire. You’ll only be faking yourself.
