This episode of Dot Com Pho is the first to be filmed on the new Panasonic Lumix GF2 digital camera and the first to be processed in 1080P resolution. I have to say, it’s the sharpest looking Dot Com Pho video ever. You can compare the quality difference with the Vancouver Dot Com Pho video.
Once again, we met up in Seattle’s International District to sample the great food at Thanh Vi. Instead of Pho, I decided to try out the Thanh Vi five spice chicken on rice. I’m glad I did because it was fantastic. The skin was crispy and full of flavor and the meat inside was juicy and tender. The rice was nice and firm and the dipping sauce just kicked everything up another notch.
Thanh Vi’s menu is full of dishes you wouldn’t find in a typical Pho restaurant and I’m just starting to explore them. Only one other person made it to this week’s meetup.
