Dot Com Pho – Meet Mr. Happy Pho Edition

While I was enjoying 80F sunshine in the OC, Vancouver was soaked in rain for this week’s Dot Com Pho. In fact, the weather was so bad that only Vance Sova made it to the meetup! If I had turned my Irvine Spectrum Center post into a Dot Com Pho meetup, Sally and I would have doubled the Vancouver attendance.

Vance got a nice interview with Brian, the owner of Happy Pho. Brian talks about no more sexy girls, no MSG and much more about Vietnamese food from Saigon in this Dot Com Pho Vancouver edition.

Did you ever wonder for how long the pho soup needs to be cooked? Brian reveals that in this video. Have you only heard of tendon and tripe without really seeing what it looks like when cooked? You can see it here.

Enjoy the Main Street view on a rainy Vancouver day in November from a Happy Pho Restaurant window. Watch an articulated trolley bus go by and see the outside of the entrance door from the inside.

Examine the Happy Pho menu on offer and see a close up of the real P14 pho, just ordered with rare beef, tendon and tripe. Enjoy!
