It was getting a bit too hot in Orange County, so I decided to jet back to Vancouver in time for the weekly Dot Com Pho meetup with the original Dot Com crew.
The crew has gotten a lot younger since I left. Either that, or we all gotten a lot older and decided to have kids. Our table was overran by the cute little monsters.
Thanks to the baby sitters knows a iPad and iPhone, we were able to keep them entertained so we had time to discuss important world issues, like whether to buy a gullwing Mercedes SLS AMG or a convertible one.
The episode of Dot Com Pho was filmed and processed right at the Happy Pho restaurant using the Olympus OM-D E-M1 digital camera and Apple Macbook Pro. The video was uploaded at the Oakridge Apple store. If you want to upload something really fast, it’s really hard to beat an Apple Store. Their wireless network is about 100 times faster than the average Starbucks (check out the speed test results on the right). I was able to upload the entire 1.5GB video in about three minutes. See you next week!
