I picked up a queen size NovaForm bed for the guest room and figured I would make a video of the unboxing because I couldn’t believe the box the bed came in could possibly contain a queen-sized bed.
The NovaForm is a 12″ mattress made up of three Layers: 2-1/2″ of gel memory foam, 2-1/2″ of textured foam, and 7″ base of premium base foam. How does a 60-Inch wide by 80-Inch long by 12-Inch deep mattress fit into a box one quarter its size? They suck the air out of it and vacuum seal it.
With a shipping weight of over 90 pounds, NovaForm recommends you unbox the bed in the room you plan to use it in. I decided to unbox it in the garage so it will have a nice place to air out that new mattress smell. It’s pretty neat seeing the bed expand to full size. Watch the video and see for yourself.
