As the name suggest, the light is a 12″ diameter ring that lights up in three color modes (cool white, warm white, warm) and brightness level can be adjusted from 10% to 100%.
The light attaches to the supplied aluminum alloy tripod via a quarter-twenty mount. The tripod legs are extendable from 16 inch to 52 inch, making the light usable for floor or table setups.
The tripod head enables you to rotate the head 360°, turn ring light 90° horizontal and 180° vertical so you can find the perfect illumination angle to light up your face.
Two smartphone holders are included. One holds your phone in the middle of ring light and another hold your phone at the tripod stand. You can use the holders for vertical or horizontal videos. The adjustable phone clamp fits almost all smartphones.
To complete the video setup, the Taotronics ring light comes with a Bluetooth remote shuttle that allows you to easily control your phone while shooting photos or recording videos from a distance. The remote is compatible with iOS and Android smartphones.
