Telsa Road Trip To The California Science Center

The California Science Center is a state agency and museum located in Exposition Park, Los Angeles, next to the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County and the University of Southern California. The place is billed as the West Coast’s largest hands-on science center.

The Science Center makes for a fairly inexpensive family outing. Admission is by donation only, and includes access the permanent exhibits and demonstrations. A separate ticket is required for the IMAX movies, most special traveling exhibitions, and special activities that include a climbing wall, motion simulator and a high-wire bicycle. A separate ticket is also required to view the Space Shuttle Endeavor and the External Tank known as ET.

Parking at the Science Center cost $12. However, they have reserved EV parking spots with free chargers at the most prime location of the lot. I had to use my J1772 adapter to make the charger work with the Tesla Model X.

Sally and her friends had a great time. I let them explore the center by themselves. That gave me time to enjoy a nice lunch, and check my stats to see I made $3,300 during the drive from The OC to LA. That’s the power of the Dot Com Lifestyle!
